AU Shippin' Out November 27-30: Super Mario Galaxy
The week many Wii owners have been waiting for is finally here!
This week sees the release of Super Mario Galaxy in Australia, a game that's been on the minds of many Wii owners since its first showing in 2006. The story line is similar to previous Mario games, in that you must rescue Princess Peach from Bowser and his son. Before Mario has a chance to stop them, the duo escape into space with her. In order to rescue Peach, Mario teams up with a small creature called Rosalina, whose ship has been disabled by Bowser. Mario and Rosalina set out to find the various powers strewn across the galaxy so they can power up her ship and rescue Peach. Super Mario Galaxy is without a doubt the best looking game on Wii at the moment. It's also one of the most entertaining games on the platform, as it'll have you jumping from planet to planet solving puzzles and collecting powers. Super Mario Galaxy comes out in Australia this Thursday. Click here to find out why we gave it an Editors' Choice.
Despite lending its name to a popular graphics engine, it's been a few years since we've seen an Unreal Tournament game. Just like the previous games in the series, Unreal Tournament III pits players against other opponents either online or offline in gladiator-like events where they must kill to win. Although not a lot has changed since Unreal Tournament 2004, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The game's pace is still extremely fast, with lots of firepower packed in. To accommodate the massive mod-following that the series has accumulated, Unreal Tournament III comes with several level design tools. When it comes out on the 29th, Unreal Tournament III will be available in both a collector's and standard edition.
