AU Shippin' Out May 24: UFC 2010 Undisputed

Last year's UFC game from THQ was a huge success for the company, selling more than 3 million copies globally. It's no surprise, then, that THQ has turned the game into a regular franchise. One of the biggest changes to UFC 2010 Undisputed is the controls. Clinch, ground fighting, and submissions are all now controlled through the "shine" system, which involves rotating the analog stick in various directions. PlayStation 3 owners of the game also exclusively get three additional fighters, including the legendary Royce Gracie, and five high-definition classic fights. Keep an eye out for UFC 2010 Undisputed when it's released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 around Australia on Thursday.

Australia may be on par with the rest of the world most of the time when it comes to release dates, but every so often a game like No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle slips through the cracks. The game follows Travis Touchdown as he climbs his way up the ranks in the United Assassins Association league, this time on a mission to avenge the death of his friend who was murdered by the current world champion. Sound morbid? That's because it is--over-the-top violence was a staple of the first game and continues the tradition in this sequel. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is out on the Wii on the 27th.

This week also marks the release of Blur, the first game developed by Bizarre Creations after it was bought out by Activision. Sticking to what it knows, Blur is an arcade racer featuring 50-plus real-world cars and some not-so-real-world power-ups. Think Mario Kart or ModNation Racers, but with real cars. Blur is out this Wednesday, two weeks ahead of its biggest competitor, Split/Second.
