AU Shippin' Out March 16-20: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
The Nintendo DS adds another MA 15+ game to its small library of violent games.
Rockstar Games makes its Nintendo DS debut down under this week with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Taking the series back to its top-down roots, Chinatown Wars follows the tribulations of Huang Lee, who has been tasked with the delivery of a sword to his uncle Kenny. Like many DS games, you can expect Chinatown Wars to have its fair share of touch-screen contextual mechanics, such as jimmying the ignition of a car to start it. Interestingly, you'll be able to use the DS's wireless capabilities to transmit your stats to the Rockstar Social Club. Expect to see Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on store shelves this Thursday.
The PSP also sees a major game come out later this week: Patapon 2. Picking up where the original left off, Patapon 2 sees you leading the cute little tribespeople once more. This time around, the Patapon have been washed ashore after their boat was attacked by a kraken, and they must survive against the island's inhabitants to find out what's going on. Prepare to lead little tribespeople to the rhythm of drums this Thursday when Patapon 2 gets released.
Originally banned in Australia in late 2008, Silent Hill: Homecoming has been edited, rerated MA 15+, and is on the verge of local release. Now featuring less gore, Silent Hill: Homecoming tells the all-too-familiar story of "Man goes into town, man finds town is overrun with monsters, man saves brother/town (or all of the above), all the while trying to scare the pants off of the player." If you're keen to see how the edited version plays, be sure to check out our in-depth preview of Silent Hill: Homecoming before its release later this week.

Can't wait to get my hands on cold war.
i think am pickin up socom...i saw my frnd playin it and it was gr8
Finally, Codename Panzers: Cold War
Jeeze, the game was bad enough as far as Silent Hill was concerned. Taking away what little the game had to offer is just insane.... How about they patch it and make it freaking creepy again? They destroyed the series with this game. Almost as bad as Alone in the Dark, ... well not really, but not Silent Hill worthy.
I've been looking forward to some Grand Theft Auto action on my DS
I was keen to get Socom last september, now I have so many other new games recently I might skip this one.
GTA and GH on the DS will probably dominate the charts next week.
