AU Shippin' Out February 28-March 4: Fight Night
It's brawn against brains this week.
EA Sports returns to the ring this week for the release of Fight Night Champion on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This time around the game is looking to focus on the nastier side of boxing, with a bigger emphasis on character damage and a single-player mode that depicts a "world of brutality, uncertainty, betrayal, and redemption." Australia has also got some representation in the game again, with Anthony Mundine and Billy Dibb appearing on the fighter roster.
Swapping the brain-cell-shattering sport of boxing for some classic adventure gameplay is the latest game from Jane Jensen--Gray Matter. Staying close to the point-and-click style of gameplay that Jensen is known for, Gray Matter tells a story about a young girl who gets involved in a science experiment that makes her question whether paranormal activity is real or a ruse.
Both Fight Night Championship and Gray Matter are slated for release on Thursday around Australia.
