From News.com

Video game maker Atari announced its chief executive officer, James Caparro, has resigned to take a CEO position at Glenayre Technologies subsidiary Entertainment Distribution. Bruno Bonnell, former Atari CEO and current chairman and chief creative officer, has been named interim chief executive while the board searches for Caparro's permanent replacement, the company said.

Caparro was originally brought on board to replace Bonnell, and he joined Atari's board in February 2002. Previously, Caparro worked with Warner Music Group, Universal Music, and PolyGram, which helped Atari expand its children's games, such as Backyard Sports, Nickelodeon's Blue's Clues, and Dora the Explorer. Atari is also known for its interactive games, which include Unreal Tournament, Driver 3, and Enter the Matrix.
