i don't get it... if the new character is a pirate, why does he need a hood??? anyway, cool trailer!
Ubisofts cod has an awesome trailer? Shock. Remember how amazing the 3rd games trailer was? How cool it was to see an assassin running through a battlefield picking people off...and remember how almost NONE of that was actually in the game ;p Seriously the in game battlefield sequence was LAME lol
Ubisoft stop being like Activision and releasing a AC every year. Nobody cares bout your stupid Franchise. You should of ended AC with AC 3. Unisoft is running out of Ideas that's why they keep releasing a AC every year. Pirates that is so boring.
These games are so goofy- hate knowing that I'm going to eventually play this and dislike it like I did all AC games.

I will respect that you didn't enjoy the other AC games but I think your going overboard. Every game has its flaws. The games you might enjoy, other people might call it goofy, and the fact that your judging this game before it comes out is stupid.
In my opinion, The AC games are great, and I can't wait for this one. Since Ubisoft has a huge team its not a surprise that there making it. You never know if there learn from their mistakes.
@littlebigmimi I have absolutely every right to judge a game before it comes out if its the 5th (?) installment of a series and all the previous AC games were lackluster.
Am I not allowed to assume Uwe Boll movies are going to suck either?
I think that is too much I beat AC3, but it's too early to announce all this information about the game.
I'll just get the PC version. Then I can switch it between current and next-gen using the settings screen without having to buy it again if I happen to get a next-gen console :P
I saw trailer and it is sweet but it does not prove anything. Trailer for AC III was sweet like honey and the actual game was painfully average. Need to see some gameplay footage.
Why is everyone hating about Assassin's Creed being the same? Anyone should be able to tell that this new naval warfare is so much different from the first game! It is coming on the next-gen consoles, features a different story from the rest (more sinister it seems, even for an assassin), and is all composed in a new great world.
@Shadowcreeper31 Having an opinion and stating some facts is "hate"? Grow up man. Other peoples views and opinions don't effect your life, and they are not HATE! Whoopdy do...a new story. The fact is, you are still doing the same things you have done since AC1 & 2. If that opinion is too much for you to handle, then obviously you can't handle it. It's not hate either.
@DarthLod @Shadowcreeper31 I'm sorry my casual slang speech of saying 'hate' confused you; I can see that it is quite an exaggeration to 'strongly disliking'. Your opinions don't effect my life, I know (they are just frustratingly annoying and wrong), but other people could thoroughly enjoy the conversations if STRONG DISLIKERS like you didn't come and whine your opinions to us. I actually didn't play 2, and I didn't like 1 that much. I did like Brotherhood though, because of the dramatic change of design and style.
@Shadowcreeper31 man u just read mind , i dont know whats wrong with these people these days? :S
Day time a Pirate
Night time an assassin
Freaking awesome been waiting for a change ever since in AC3 came out , this really going to shoot out the AC franchise on a whole new level :D
@Anstark : What change? It's the same game since AC2. You people are gullible and far too easily pleased.
I trust Ubisoft will learn from their mistakes. Plus i agree with you, a bigger staff means that the game will get better as the months go by and will come out sooner. So it doesn't bother me that Ubisoft is doing this.
@Shadowcreeper31 @Anstark @DarthLod DarthLod they're still making quality, but its coming out every year for a reason. Ubisoft's staff is huge. Think of all these games that come out every 3 years. If GTA had the same amount of staff as Ubisoft, there'd be a GTA every year. Same for all games, bigger staff, faster game release, with the same or better quality. hater. HAHA! you hate being called a hater :) :*
@DarthLod @Anstark lol , do you even hear yourself man , some games are fitted to come out every year and plus this one waay different than the rest of the AC games , and i know you are waiting for some gamplay i mean im like you i dont judge a book by its cover i need to seee some gameplay but the fact remains that its coming out for the next gen i mean thats something big , and you know you got to admit your interested about this one .
@Anstark : Actually, it's more than an opinion, it's based on making a quality product. Something you cant do when it becomes assembly line, rehashed every year. However, your opinions is yours also. Your point? I see none.
@Anstark NO game should come out every year. Ever.
@DarthLod @Anstark well i agree with you on that , but there are "some" games that should come every year, and i know that some games when they take a long time to produce they can be either "shi88y" or freaking master-piece , its not always the games that takes more time to develop are the best you know
@Anstark Every year is overkill. You get tired of it, as I am. Games should come out every couple of years. That's how quality is produced. Not assembly lined every year.
@Shadowcreeper31 Who is hating it? It's a tired milked to death franchise. I LOVE the first AC 2 games. but then they ruined it by coming out with one every single year. Enough is enough. The gold has lost it's luster.
@Anstark : Its an easy comparison sir. Milking a franchise to death...something bod COD and AC are both doing. Same games, different pain jobs.
@Anstark : That's correct. It is a comparison. COD got new engines as well. COD got new guns and new "moves"....yet it's still the same game. New paint jobs and bells and whistles don't change it.
@DarthLod @Anstark im starting to think that you are comparing the AC games with the cod games their the ones that come out same as always , but AC 3 got a new engine is that not enough and connor has over 1000 differnt moves than any other character plus there is a really thin line between saying your opinion and hating bro
@Anstark : What is it with you immature people calling an opinion "hate"? And, it HAS been the same game since AC2. Nothing new, same old stuff, different paint job and setting. That is not HATE.
"trailer does not contain any in-game footage" And this is why I am sick of game trailers these days. They have nothing to do with the game. Pointless. All the CGI crap is just for Hype, and it is usually misguided hype. I dont fall for it.
