The Electronic Entertainment Expo may be the headline for the week, but a load of new titles will be on shelves, too. Helming the front lines is Infamous 2 for the PlayStation 3. This action game continues the story of electric-powered superhuman Cole MacGrath as he explores the city of New Marais to earn new superpowers to combat an entity known as the Beast. Players will get to check out Cole's upgraded powers and test them in the sprawling open-world city to combat its militia force and other oddities. Infamous 2 also sports the option to create custom missions that can be shared online on the PlayStation Network. Players can follow the road to being good or infamous this Tuesday when the game arrives on shelves. For GameSpot's review of the title, head here.

Gamers will finally get their hands on the 14-years-in-development title Duke Nukem Forever for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. A long-running joke in the game industry since its announcement in 1998, the first-person shooter sees the self-proclaimed king as he saves the world once again from the babe-snatching aliens he fought in Duke Nukem 3D. The game features old-school FPS-style gameplay and multiplayer modes like King of the Hill and Capture the Babe. Duke will be gracing gamers with his digital presence this Friday.

The prototype version of Mega Man Legends 3 will be up for grabs by the time the Nintendo e-shop service is available, which should be this Wednesday. This demo of sorts introduces a new character named Barret and gives fans the opportunity to see past Mega Man Legends characters in the game engine.

Finally, Red Faction: Armageddon bursts its way onto shelves for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Players assume the role of Darius Mason, who has to save Mars from an alien outbreak. Following up with the destruction element of the previous game, players will get to toy around with weapons like the magnet gun and the charge launcher. The game also features a four-player online cooperative mode called Infestation, where players have to survive against waves of alien enemies for as long as possible. Red Faction: Armageddon is slated for Tuesday.
