Body count is the most worthless game...Why would we do that to Asia after all they have been though.
Asia Shippin' Out August 28-September 3: Bodycount
Codemaster's new shooter debuts on the end of Ramadan month alongside new Sims expansion and action RPG sequels.
Just before Sony unleashes its barrage of year-end heavy hitters starting with Resistance 3, gamers will get to check out a bevy of new releases for the week of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Shooter fans can try out the new Codemasters release Bodycount that will be out this Tuesday. Developed by the Guildford Studio, the FPS features a cover-lean mechanic and arcade-style shooting inspired by the likes of Serious Sam and Sega's The Club. Players control an ex-army soldier who works in a private military group called The Network and goes around solving the fictional world's conflicts using his lethal expertise. The FPS will be out this Tuesday.
Next up is the expansion for The Sims Medieval called Pirates and Nobles. In addition to the obvious job additions stated on the title, the game also brings in new quests and objects for players to decorate their custom kingdom with. The expansion also offers a treasure-hunting quest where players use different types of shovels to randomly dig at spots for valuable artifacts that can improve a sim's stats. The expansion will be out tomorrow.
RPG fans with PSPs can finally take a look at the English version of ClaDun x2 that will be downloadable on the PlayStation Network store. The sequel adds in new features like a weapon and background music creator, as well as five new classes that include the magic-wielding saint and the long-range ranger. Gamers can expect to head into retro dungeon-crawling territory this Tuesday.
Last but not least, gamers can check out the new Deathspank sequel called The Baconing, downloadable for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Mac. After the events of Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, the hero Deathspank decided to wear all the thongs of power at one go, resulting in the accidental summoning of the evil incarnation known as the AntiSpank. He now has to enter the Fires of Bacon and destroy five of the thongs to preserve the world's balance. Much like the previous titles, this action RPG features pop-up-book-style aesthetics set in a sci-fi world, more than 100 quests, and local co-op options.
The Baconing is up for download this Tuesday from the PlayStation Network store and Wednesday for the Xbox Live Arcade store. PC and Mac gamers can download the action RPG from the Steam online store and the Mac Apple store respectively this Wednesday.
