@73X A quick google showed this from Auust. Triliogy means three so imo that means it's confirmed. But I also bought it more than once. I never did that for a game before. Steam version, Gog version and the CE also. Gave the gog to a friend though but I will also buy the 360 version and the invetiable PS3 version. CDProjekt deserves it. @edinko Frankly say what you want about Blizzard they have never made a bad game. Diablo III will be different but we shouldn't complain till it's out because it will most likely be the best dungeon crawler since Diablo II. @Conscrumptured You don't need a powerful PC really I have outdated hardware. A Q6600, 4gigs of ram and a HD 5770 and yet I play fine at 1920x1200 with everything but SSAO, Ubersampling and AA. 35 -40 fps most of the timel You should really consider it a fantastic game. But CDProjekt also said they didn't make a PS3 version because they are too small not that they don't want and are interested in bring it to the PS3 so you should be on the lookout for W2 on the PS3.

@edinko Listen, I'm not going to banter back and forth with you, but you act as if you are the overall judge of what makes horrible controls for a game. Because you think they are horrible doesn't make them horrible for everyone else, no matter the complexity. I can't think of any games that are ruined by console controls. They may not be as good as their pc counterpart, in your eyes, but a lot of folks are fine with it. I viewed your profile to see what games you are playing, but of course there isn't any listed, and I was curious to see if you actually played any console titles, or if you just hated it altogether?

@godzillavskong you dont make any sense. like i said i play console games and actually playing 1 pc game right now with a xbox controller. and yes the controls are horrible for many genres most RPGs, all FPS, streategy and of course they are great for platformers, racing, simple games. its not a matter of preference. it is a FACT that more complex genres or genres that require precision really suffer from consolitis and bad controls. and i say it again i play console games all the time.

I didn't even bother to read the other comments I'm just here to say that this game is so damn good and everyone should play it. A sequel is mandatory for this game anything else would be ludicrous. I also would like to add that I loved this game so much that I gladly put up with the lowest settings because my computer would not be able to handle it otherwise, and even though it looked terrible the gameplay, story, etc was so extraordinary it made no difference at all to me if anything it made me appreciate the game that much more.

@Vojtass I am a game collector,i play all plats,including pc believe it or not, i GLADLY pay more for my physical copies and some DLCs although they aren't priority for me nor are M$.

@KILLEDbCRITICAL Additional DLCs on XB will be for certain price - this is Microsoft's official policy. Deal with it.

I only have a PS3, and an outdated PC. Looks like, unless I get myself a newer PC, I won't be able to enjoy in the festivities.

Oh, I see , no it wasn't me who made that comment. You must have it twisted. I have all the consoles, 3 PCs, and 1 laptop, so I don't have anything against one or the other, but rather defending the statements made by you, saying the control scheme on consoles is aweful. That's your opinion in that matter.

@edinko What are you referring to when you asked"wasn't it you?" I have no idea what you're talking about. I plan on building myself a gaming pc and I don't have anything against PC gaming, it's just that I don't see anything wrong with console gaming, but it seems like some PC loyalist do.

@godzillavskong no you are wrong. i dindt talk about graphics they are stupified in terms of gameplay to be playable on consoles. and that is a FACT. just play dragon age 2 or dungeon siege 3 or any game that is more and more dumbed down as time passes and new parts of the series arrive and the publishers perceive each year the console audience less and less inteligent.(they are not mostly but they see them like that) nuff said. its impossible to talk to stubborn console fanboys cause they are mostly so jealousy driven its is impossible to reason with them. you remind me actually of a guy today who commented the article in which rockstar (devs) said that batman arkham asylum will be best on PC with the statement that ppl shouldnt be CHEAP and play on PCs and play on a 21st century machine which is the PS3. by the way wasnt it you?

@edinko You actually sound like a radical,trying to pass on your beliefs, or opinions. I know a lot of people who prefer console controls over PC controls,even on games that were born on PCs,so it's all about opinions, not facts, like you say. As far as games becoming primitive because they are being brought over to the consoles, what about them makes them primitive? Yeah the graphics are toned down, but is that really a major factor in one's purchase of a game? The controls are switched over, but a lot of gamers actually like console controls, so they shouldn't be a issue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but your claiming that its a fact on what your spewing, which is wrong.

@manciuxl The Witcher 2 is long enough although it is shorter than TW1. There are several walkthroughs on Youtube and they are usually 20-30 hours long - keep in mind they are usually edited so sized down from more than 40 hours footage. To summarize if you play on hard and you do sidequests, some crafting, alchemy then TW2 will easily give you 40+ hours of gameplay. Also it's worth it to have at least one additional playthrough with different Act 2 and soon another with Dark Mode, not mentioning the Arena.

@cocainco Actually there are 7 books about witcher Geralt, but only two were translated into English (The Last Wish, Blood of Elves). This is very unfortunate, because in Central and Eastern Europe, these books have status of gold classics. In Poland there's a cult, and witcher is like national treasure - Obama got a copy of TW2 CE (signed by the Reds) from Polish prime minister...

make this one longer the witcher 2 was pretty short(only 15 hours with all side quest)

@squallgunblade7 just out of interest. i`d really like to know precisely in what is the Ps3 gameplay far far superior to the pc ones like you said? The few buttons? the sub-hd jaggy infested 6-7 years old graphics?the long loading times?typing text with a gampead? paying for basic online play?the inability to do anything beyond what sony wants?being condemned to play with 12 year old call of duty zombies?being stuck with control methods that are hopelessly overloaded with even a basic action game and are not capable of supporting even a mildly complex game without being terrible clunky or dumbed down ?take your pick

@edinko I have to agree with what edinko is saying. He's supporting a claim that I too support. There is nothing wrong with being a fanboy, wev'e just been there from the start, that's all there is to it. Most sequels that are successful are improved by hearing out its original fan based community, and ofcourse, hoping the developers are still the same. When games are ported to a console from a PC they are definitely downgraded. If you say otherwise then please state next gen PC games that were successfully ported to consoles. I respect CD Project because they develop their games on the PC first, and then to consoles without the PC version losing it's original form what so ever. A perfect example degradation would be Crysis 2, I personally think the game was horrible because it didn't stay true to Crysis 1. What made Crysis 1 was it's sandbox type of gameplay...Why in the world would you take that out? As well as many of the physics and effects. This was due to multi-platform degradation. How can a developer make a sequel from a PC to a console? ($$$$$$)....CD Projekt knows of the limitations a console has, and therefore waits to bring it out after the PC version is done. It's awesome that the 360 users are getting a port though, hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as we PC users have.

Who didn't know there will be a Witcher 3? ydnarrewop, from the last changelog (patch 2.0) i saw, game already becoming easier.
