Alien Hominid invades GBA in UK

By Benjamin Golze

The little yellow alien will wreak havoc on Nintendo's handheld; no plans announced for US release.

After its acclaimed jump from free Web-based Flash game to the PlayStation 2 and GameCube last year, UK-based Zoo Digital announced that it will release the side-scrolling action game Alien Hominid on the Game Boy Advance in the UK. As in the other versions of the game, players will control a vicious little yellow alien who crash-lands on Earth and fights government agents over 13 levels. The distinct comic look, originally designed by artist Dan Paladin, will be preserved in the GBA version. Alien Hominid is currently scheduled for an October release in the UK. No plans for a release stateside have been announced.

I just bought this game yesterday, and i think it's awesome. all of my friends at home in the US will be so jealous because they'll play it on my DS and then they'll want it but they won't be able to get it because they don't live in Europe. XD

I've held off buying the game for a console because it gets so boring after one play through, but on a handheld I'll definetly consider it.
