99 cents from Rovio, $60 from activision plus $20 dlc for each additional episode

OMG.  There's no way that the over priced internet ready blu ray player will be able to handle this game!! It'll require a M A N D A T O R Y install of about 6 gig, get about 2-3 frames per sec, and have about 20% screen tear. Hey I just described about 90% of the games ever released on the over priced internet ready blu ray player!! LOL

I wonder how this port is going to work.. I can only see it as a Kinect Arcade game or a arcade game for PSMove... Don't think this will work well... It's a dollar on the app store, now we will have to pay around $15...

Angry Birds is going to need one heck of an upgrade to make worth playing on a console.

Why bother when you can play this game for free on a smartphone or tablet.If your phone is HDMI compatible, all you have to do is plug it into a tv and bam, 60'' of goddness.lol

Well since you're sitting there on your xbox you could just play real games.

Angry birds is overrated anyway, buts its the best thing ever when it comes to casual gamers.

I also agree that this game is begging to be ported to the PS Vita. It's a good mobile game and the Vita has the input schemes, screen ratio, and processing power to make it great.

PS -- A 3DS port would also be nice, but I doubt they're going to do the work to make it in 3D, even if it would be too cool.

i only finished the original angry bird..i got bored with the others and was left unfinished....but if they put on vita..i might try it..since i'm getting bored with my vita cuz theres nothing to play on it~x__x

If it's not Rovio certified, FORGET IT! Just make them the standalone game for the Vita. Don't bother make Activision ruin the entire game just like that photo gallery above!

EA's shooters used to have the motto "EA Games: Challenge Everything." Maybe Activision's should be "Activision: Always The Last On The Bandwagon."

It doesn't play well with controller unless they do kinect or move PS move, I played it for psp and it's better with touch screen

Don't know if you guys heard but Activision confirmed they'll make a spin-off called Call of Birds: Angry Warfare. It will be a FPS and will apparently bring so much innovation to the genre.[trollface]

Will it even look any better in HD?

It's sad that Angry Birds gets hate just for being wildly popular, it's actually one of the best examples of a REAL video game of the last few years. It's the perfect blend of skill, luck and wackiness. No wonder Miyamoto himself expressed that he would have loved to have created that game.

The Angry Birds mini on the PS3/PSP is subpar compared with other versions without even considering the touch vs joystick mechanic.  There are game locking bugs and odd physics.  Plus paying money to get the first four worlds and never getting an update (whereas the iOS and Droid versions just keep adding new levels)

I can't wait to pay 1.99 for each update with a new world that everyone else gets for free.

I really would like AB on my Vita though, but I'm sure they'll nickel and dime me.

just release it on the vita and be done with it. It's better with a touchscreen

DUMB IDEA!!! But that's Activisions' m.o.... to milk franchises dry, even if it's not their franchise. The PS3 already has an Angry Birds game under the "Minis" category. I actually paid $3 for it, played it once, and never touched it again. It's terrible. Angry Birds doesn't control well on consoles. It's obviously meant for mobile devices and should stay there.

I think they're pushing the brand to it's limits, angry birds is suited better for mobile devices and handhelds and even when i got angry birds space on my iPhone i just played the first few levels then went to do something else, now i just visit it like once in 2 weeks, beat 2 levels then i'm off to something else again, i can't imagine anyone having the time to play this game on a console.

Why must Activision insist in killing gaming?

Maybe we can get everyone that owns a console and not buy the game. If they must release it on more platforms, go for the 3DS and Vita. Then we can get them on board and not buy it too.

meh, if its not a physics game, it might have potential on the pc, its hard to expect they will just port the game as is to ps3/xbox

Yes, because nothing screams graphic intensity like Angry Birds and therefore entirely warrants HD. 

This....thing would probably be damn near unplayable with a standard controller. Way to jump on the money milking bandwagon like always, Activision.

Wow this is exactly what I would expect from Activision...a cash cow like Angry Birds must be so tempting for them, that they need to publish it to consoles as a sub par product and rake in the billions!
