Ace Combat 6 confirmed for Xbox 360

Well, looks like as fate would have it, the Hori AC6 Flight Stick sucks, and the multiplat Tom Clancy's HAWX is shaping up to be a fine alternative for Playstation owners who got stiffed by Namco on this one. I will not miss it that much.

i dont think this will stick to the 360 only. there is just no way namco can do that. i personally am glad this is coming to 360, but i am very very sure there will be a ps3 version too. ace combat belongs to the playstation, it has evolved and grown on the playstation. there is no way namco wont release a ps3 version of this game.

Gah im soo pissed....This is messed up. At least do both consoles. Where is the harm in that! If its income your after (Im sure Gates reached deep into his pocket), then at least do both platforms. Stay loyal to your dag gone fans...be a leader not a follower! Dont jump the xbox360 bandwagon....

Thats kind of (male reproductive organ) of them. They have had Ace Combat on Playstation for as long as I can remember, and I own all of them. They better not make this game exclusive to only XBOX 360...The PS3 is perfectly capable of supporting greatly detailed games. I dont understand why they would make this switch now...its FUBAR (for those of us that have seen Saving Private Ryan...which is probably everyone). Namco Bandai, I hope Blue Ray wins the Next Generation DVD battle or what not....not to mention xbox fans probably dont know a whole lot about the Ace Combat series, cause I doubt most of them gave a hoot about it when it was out on Playstation...I hope this decision fails miserably!!!!

We need a PS3 version too, I don't now but I don't like this new Microsoft it's getting all, please this game was one of the "aces" of Sony it is necessary a PS3 version or Sony is going to lose more places against the famous XBOX360.

heh they can't fit FF or MGS on a DVD. Look at Heavenly Sword it takes almost a full BD. I guess we'll se a PS3 version soon too.

From the looks of the video theres ANOTHER superweapon. Eh...Ace Combat is a great game but maybe they should diversify the story every sequal. And I bet there's another "fly inside the building" level...

Who all some this coming....and another leaves the dark side to come to the light. If only msg series and FF series can come aboard, then the 360 will be very popular.

well accutally ps3 already have lose sales 100.000 of them its what they sale i think it was something like thta the point its that if the realeased to ps3 they WILL ha loses just cuz a few ppl get the ps3 why so few? ..........................price...........so yeah it was a smart move to put it in the 360.

I hope they bring it to the ps3 not that i own one but because if they don't then the die hard sony fans wont get it and they will lose sales and then there will be a chance the franchise may die and ace combat pwns all.

no, elder scrolls, GTA doesn't bear the "only for XBOX 360" so far, the only "only on xbox 360" games that has defected is i think saints row....so, if this game bear the 360 only sign, i doubt it will come on PS3, time will tell

in due time, i`m sure that this new ace combat will come to playstation console, if not, their gonna lose a lot of fans

Well if anyone remembers correctly Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of Liberty Substance was ported over to the Microsoft XBOX with the new tweaks and playable Snake before Sony was able to have it.

Itll come to PS3, I am not worried at all.

It'd better launch for the Ps3 as well, when Namco first sold their soul to Microsoft they might as well go all the way and launch on all consoles. Thank god for that exclusive today only means that they will launch on the 360 first, then... we'll see...

It'll end up on the PS3. Look what happened to series such as The Elder Scrolls and GTA. Exclusive on one console then ported to the other out of the blue. Mercs 2 was a sony exclusive for the longest time and then it was announced it would be on PS2,PS3,360, and PC.

You guys are all stupid. I doubt the makers of ace combat are trying to hurt sony. For whatever reason they have they're going with the 360.

the only thing that would make this game better if microsoft relesed drivers so i could hook up my joystick via usb and fly around, i cant wait anyway, thinking about joining the Air Force so this will come in handy

as a AC fan i didn't waste my money on a 360 after playing on all the PS2 AC games. With Games Halo 3, Armoured Core 4, GRAW 2, Lost Planet and Now Ace Combat 6. The PS3 looks to be blown out of the water already

all i got to say is YUM!, this is definitely convincing me to buy a Xbox 360.

The ground modeling has always been ace combat's weakness. I hope they work on that. AC2 really started the greatness! Can't wait to check this one out!!

oooh I havent played an ace combat game since ace combat 2 (woah!!).. it was a great game. That and afterburner 2 (arcade version) are my favourite flying games... oh and wing arms for the saturn wasn't TOO bad... Warhawk, original ps1 version (not ps3 version) was alright, but completely oldy crappy now... didnt stand the test of time at all, but it was cool to fly through big ships... But - anyways - ace combat, king of air combat. I hope that there will be famous monuments to fly through, and fly low through cities, big fun!

Sony, you messed up, you're losing ground big time. This (and many others) is yet ANOTHER reason to chose 360 over PS3. I have, and more and more people will. Better performance, better graphics (incredibly), online play, i mean, what are you PS freaks thinking buying this overpriced inferior system? We have the same games (and better) already, so......? Anyway, I'm happy.
