Latest Legends of Wrestling starts body-slamming PS2s and Xboxes today.
Today, Acclaim released its wrestling game, Showdown: Legends of Wrestling, for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The latest iteration in Acclaim's Legends of Wrestling series once again lets players enter the ring with one from more than 70 wrestlers from all eras past and present, including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Bret "Hitman" Hart, Diamond Dallas Page, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Eddie Guerrero, and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. As one might expect from a game where people hit each other with ladders, Showdown is rated "T" for Teen, and it will sell at a retail price of $49.99. Check out GameSpot's review for more information on the game.
