Accclaim Ships Fur Fighters
This quirky action-platformer is on its way to retailers.
Acclaim announced today that Fur Fighters has shipped to all major retailers nationwide. Fur Fighters lets players choose from six heavily-armed animals such as Juliette the cat, Rufus the dog, and Rico the penguin. Using these characters, players must vanquish the Evil General Viggo and rescue their adorable infants by any means necessary.
"Fur Fighters combines all of the action from first-person shooters to the puzzle solving elements of a traditional platform game, all with an incredible sense of humor," said Evan Stein, brand director for Acclaim Entertainment. "The result is an ingenious, premier adventure for Sega Dreamcast featuring characters and a storyline unlike anything we've seen on the market."
Fur Fighters is developed by Bizarre Creations, who is also responsible for the upcoming Metropolis Street Racer.
