The PlayStation Network is a hotbed for new content today, as Sony has added new content ranging from the HD remake of Beyond Good & Evil to a multiplayer beta test of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception to downloadable add-ons for Crytek's Crysis 2.

Leading today's charge is Beyond Good & Evil HD ($10). Originally released in November 2003, Beyond Good & Evil won critical acclaim for its mix of traditional action adventure elements with stealth segments, a picture-taking gameplay mechanic, and an engaging story of a young woman pulled into a rebel faction to blow the lid off of a planetary government conspiracy. The HD revamp features 1080p graphics, including enhanced character models and upgraded textures, as well as a remastered score.

Though Uncharted 3 doesn't ship until this November, gamers can play the game's multiplayer component today. Those who purchased Infamous 2 or are a PlayStation Plus subscriber can access the beta--which developer Naughty Dog detailed recently--today. The beta goes live for everyone else on July 4.

Also out now as a full-game download for the PlayStation 3 is Gatling Gears ($10), a twin-stick shooter set in the steampunk sci-fi universe of Mistbound. In the game, players will dodge sinkholes, fight off walker units, and battle against clans in an effort to defeat an evil corporation. Doctor Entertainment's Puzzle Dimension ($9) and the Sega Genesis classic Streets of Rage 2 ($5) are also now available through the PSN.

Gamers looking to augment their copies of Crysis 2 can grab the Decimation Pack ($10) today. The content brings five new multiplayer environments: 5th Avenue, Chasm, Plaza, Prism, and Apartments. In addition to the new killing spaces, the content includes two more weapons: the FY71 for long-range combat and the smoke grenade for close-quarters fighting.

New for the PSP this week is the Dual Pack line, which includes two games for $14.99. The PSP Dual Packs are available in the following configurations: Secret Agent Clank and Daxter; Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and Killzone Liberation; and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo.

Players hoping to try before they buy have three new demos to choose from this week, the first of which is for racing game Motorstorm: Apocalypse. The other new samplers are for NCAA Football 12, Duke Nukem Forever, and Homefront.

A full list of the week's deals and new PlayStation Store content, including themes, wallpapers, demos, discounts, and add-on content, is available on the PlayStation Blog.
