New Mass Effect comic series landing this year - Report
Dark Horse representative Jeremy Atkins says the studio will write a new entry this year; no official word from Electronic Arts or BioWare yet.
Fans of BioWare's Mass Effect fiction series thirsting for more space-faring adventure can get their hands on a new comic series later this year from Dark Horse if a report proves accurate.
According to Newsarama, reporting from the 2011 Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo, Dark Horse Comics will publish a new Mass Effect comic later this year.
The news is sourced to Dark Horse rep Jeremy Atkins, who was very straightforward. "We are going to publish another Mass Effect series later this year," he said.
Neither Electronic Arts nor BioWare has offered word on a new Mass Effect series, but with Mass Effect 3 pegged for a simultaneous multiplatform release this holiday, a tie-in comic would seem fitting.
The latest BioWare/Dark Horse collaboration came in the form of Mass Effect Evolution, a comic book that bridged the storyline from the end of Mass Effect to the beginning of Mass Effect 2.
