Asia Shippin' Out: February 27-March 5

Gritty boxing, fantasy theatres of war, and unraveling a government conspiracy on an alien planet populate this week's releases.

Last week, Asian gamers were kept busy with a plethora of first-person shooter titles. The selection of games starting off March highlights the fine art of pugilism.

First up is Fight Night Champion for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Next to boasting a gritty look and a damage system that "conveys the brutality of the sport of boxing," the game will feature a tuned-up physics-based animation system. The game will be out tomorrow and will be rated M18 for violence and strong coarse language.

Players who want to immerse themselves in a real-time strategy game that isn't made by Blizzard can check out Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution for the PC. Set 10 years after the events of the expansion Chaos Rising, players get to pick from six factions to play out their side of the story. The multiplayer mode introduces the new Imperial Guard, who fight in large numbers and are masters of firearms. The game will be out this Thursday and will come with a "General" rating.

Capping off this week's release is Beyond Good & Evil HD, a remastered version of the hit original. This version will feature 1080p graphics, enhanced character models, and a remastered musical score. The game will be out on Wednesday for the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Arcade service. The PlayStation Network version's release date has yet to be confirmed.
