Submit Your NBA Elite 11 Questions

We've got a copy of NBA Elite 11 in the office and we're looking to answer all the questions you've got about EA's new basketball sim.

With just over a month to go until the release of EA's rebranded basketball sim NBA Elite 11, a preview build has just arrived on our desk here in the GameSpot office. A lot has changed this year besides just the name. EA is taking a big gamble with a move to dual-stick controls, similar to what we've seen in recent iterations of its NHL series. In fact, those who've played EA's skate series would probably feel some similarities as well.

So if you've got any questions about this new control system, go ahead and post in the comments below. But don't stop there. The build we've got covers pretty much the entire game, so go ahead and ask us anything ranging from create-a-player to how virtual Marv Albert is holding up these days. We're looking to post a follow-up sometime next week with the answers to your questions. So have at it!

    2k said they were focusing on graphics this time but the foreheads on the players are deformed and barely looks like them

    It would be nice to have the option to change the way a team calls plays. For instance, if you are playing say with the Rockets ,which is an in and out team, but you want them to run like the Suns are you going to have an option to change the way your teams plays?

    YO DID THEY CHANGE THE COACH'S SUB IN AND SUB OUT SYSTEM FOR THE PLAYERS AND IS THE BACK TO THE BASKET GO TO MOVE BACK IN THE GAME FOR EXAMPLE KG FAKE TURNAROUND SHOT WITH HIS BACK TO THE RIM AND HOW IS THE FREESTYLE PASSING IS IT EVEN BETTER THAN NBA LIVE 10 AND DOES THE DEMO HIT THE PSN

    Do different owners have different expectations for their team and will this reflect on actions they take if you don't match their expectations, or exceed them. Can you get the sack or change teams.

    With NBA 2k11 also planning on updating their movement controls in regards to skill moves what separates your control system in terms of theirs.

    Hows the commentary? Does it have any flow to it? Also, is the become legendary and quick game have replay value, or do you get sick of it quickly? One more thing: is the dribbling and shooting mechanics as good as they are claimed to be?

    I don't care I just want to play a realistic basketball? I just want to know what game is better and lives up to being as realist the real NBA. I didn't like the foul system they had in NBA live 10. I couldn't draw the fouls and dunking look fake. I want to be able to play like the real me drawing fouls and attacking pant. posterizating other players.

    Anyone else buying this, then opening it at the store, taking out the code for NBA Jam and then trading Elite towards Castlevania or Enslaved? I am. I want NBA Jam bad.

    will there be personality animations; for example will Lebron shoot like Lebron or will KG pound his chest like in reality? Or will Duncan have his stooped down like always? Will they run or walk like how they do in Reality?

    It's amazing how every EA sports game never improves in the graphics department...
    Madden, Tiger Woods, NBA, NHL
    Same, Same, Same, Same
    They must have the laziest art departments on the planet.

    Lets not even start on gameplay...

    How does the A.I work? NBA Live always had this issue, and maybe that's one of the many reasons it's not as good as it should be. There are many things to focus on, and control is one of them, but let's not forget everything else.

    nba live 10 sucked ass. im a massive fan of the game but havnt been excited since 2005. changes r needed but loose what you had. bring back allstar weekend. make gameplay smooth and free flowing. improve ai. give us control of the player and not get stuck in preset ai moves. and think of expanding the game, make it global and have fiba 12, give us madison square gardens and drafting. ballers and gamers everywhere deserve it.

    We saw them demo the stick control at E3, but that was just controlling one guy. How is the team gameplay? Is there anything to emulate the team nature of the sport? Or is it just solo tricks and simple pass and shoot?

    BTW, All three of my questions were serious questions. The Live/Elite franchise has been horrible since Live 99. Real talk. Kobe Bryant in Nba Courtside was the game for 98-99. Then 2k jus took the basketball genre and ran since 2000. Will Live/Elite ever go back to their glory days of NBA Live 95-97?

    Also would like to know how players interact with each other. The running into another player but appearing that you are still running has always bugged me in basketball games. Lets make some contact people.

    Can multiple human players enter into their franchise mode? The controls should be pretty cool...it should be like how NHL was changed to awesomeness when they introduced the right analog as the stick. Is it comparable to NHL?

    why are your graphics so bad? even by last gens standards. ea has always had better gameplay, but 2k stands head and shoulders above you graphically.
