Community News Blog: GameSpot and THQ have teamed up for an incredible event!

Attention WWE SmackDown vs. Raw fans! GameSpot and THQ have teamed up for a very special event to announce the official roster for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011! Join us at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 8, at 3:00 p.m PT. The event is scheduled to feature WWE Superstars, an opportunity to play WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 before it hits store shelves, an online tournament, trivia, prizes, and much more!

If you can't make it to San Francisco, don't worry. We'll be streaming the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 roster reveal LIVE on GameSpot and have plenty of surprises in store for those of you watching from home.

UPDATE: Further details have been announced! You can now share that you plan to attend the event in person. Admittance is a first-come, first-server circumstance so please show up before the doors open!

    @Angel_Belial: Whenever we have a pre-footage show of only one game it's on the Now Playing page. You can get there in the future by visiting the videos page and clicking the sub nav called Now Playing. Here's a direct link: http://www.gamespot.com/shows/now-playing/

    Sounds like a lot of fun, too bad I won't be able to make it. I'll watch online though. Traveling all the way across the States for it just don't seem worth it. >_>
