Some of the high points--or low points, depending who you talk to--of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars were its cutscenes. In keeping with the tradition of the venerable series, the video sequences were live-action, and featured several actors of note, including Michael Ironside (Starship Troopers), Grace Park (TV's Battlestar Galactica), Tricia Helfer (also of BSG fame), and the Star Wars series' own Billy Dee Williams.

Today, Electronic Arts Los Angeles announced that it has hired several more familiar faces to appear in the first C&C3 expansion, Kane's Wrath. Natasha Hentstridge (pictured), who became a sci-fi fan favorite in the film Species, and Carl Lumbly, costar of the cult television series Alias, will star as Brotherhood of Nod villains Alexa and Marcion, respectively. They will join already-confirmed star Joe Kucan, who has played Brotherhood of Nod leader Kane in all C&C games that feature the character.

Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath is currently in development at EALA and is due out next spring for the PC and Xbox 360.

Yeah for more Canadian beauties in CC3. I hope the expansion pack can be downloaded from xbLive as well as a retail version.

Its a good recognisable cast. If they ever made a title in the Tiberium story of C&C without using the current actor for Kane, all hell would break loose! meteors containing some sort of crystal-plant would land on the planet and Einstien would go back in time and assasinate for fun! probably.

All they need is Michael Ironside, that Kane guy was cool I guess but I never got far enough in the original game to get his cut-scenes. I remember his lieutenant guy...he was neat...They should also have Michael Ironside as a special unit that scares the lesser nancy-boy soldiers with his gravelly voice and large forehead.

Im just happy Joe Kucan and Michael Ironside are still in it. Ms. Henstrige is a nice addition though.

I think the cutscenes in this game are what put it over the top of other RTS games.

Means you ACTUALLY KNOW what the hell is going on... Be fawked if I am going to read 2 pages of briefing just to learn that the bad guys are going to steal this because of the other more bad guys being badder to them. Lol... WTF?

I honestly don't really care about the cutscenes, the only reason they're important to me are because they explain the story. And after the stupid cliffhanger of C&C 3, this had better wrap things up.

I guess it really is a personal opinion thing. I think out the of the entire game of C&C3, the best part about it is the live-action sequences. They really add a lot to the atmosphere and the tension. Out of that though, the gameplay in itself is weak, every battle is essentially the same, and all everyone does and needs to do is spam stuff. The single-player campaign is by far the most intense part of the game, as a RTS starcraft is still the best.

i think if your going to make a cutscene, make it with the same engine, same sound same everything but make it non interactive. I hate when they make CG or "liveaction" cutscenes, it takes you out of the game in a way
