My problem with PSP is that it is not a lot of games for it. What they release a new game for it maybe every 3 or 4 weeks. I bought one and once I couldn't get the games I wanted for it, it just wore on me to have it.

the only real use i could see for this would be to make a smaller but possibly more fragile design unless it had features that were exclusive i dont see the point of trying to sell it i have a psp-2001 model and it is fine i have no problems i see this psp as being almost pointless

Yes, the L & R triggers will be impossible to reach. Maybe they'll relocate it, this must be a non working prototype...

  • ib_banging

Well, the design is indeed terrible.. The L & R triggers will be impossible to reach.. Maybe this is just a prototype... Not a working one even.

good luck trying to reach those shoulder buttons

I just have a feeling that this is fake. I would love to say that I'm sure it is cuz it looks like an awful design. It must be a hassle to press the L and R buttons cuz theyre so high up. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see for ourselves at E3.

rofl its sooooo fake... i would hate sony if they didnt add a 2nd analog stick for the psp2 -.-

whats the point of the go-gurt? a random ad?

anyway this is a concept made by someone else, NOT sony. if you want to see more concepst just search "PSP2" in google images, theres heaps.

this ain't the most practical design either, theres no way to reach the shoulder buttons and theres no right analog.

That pic looks juicy, but sure as hell the gameplay's gonna suck. How am i supposed to reach those L and R buttons without sliding the screen back down?

Nice design, but I'm looking at the 1 analog, hopefully mircosoft join the portable battle to make a good handheld console!

  • Killer6b9

    Posted May 7, 2009 2:37 pm PT

From the picture it sure does look like they are going to make you really reach for those shoulder buttons.............I think it would be nice if the screen tilted slightly up like some of the pda phones also, but you never know...

omg this is totally my idea, i've been scribbling something last year, basically what i thought would be a cool next gen psp and i thought of the slide thingy and besides that having a keyboard there instead of the buttons...would be cool if it were made ... the way the buttons are in this pic is just wrong

  • PumpkinBoogie

    Posted May 3, 2009 5:44 am PT

Yeah...the go-gurt part was a pretty poor attempt at humor that time.....sorry, GS can't say you nailed it on that, LOL. Besides, this is just one of those Photoshopped concept designs anyway (I've seen this one flowing around on the web for a few years now)...not like it's real or anything.

its rumored to be called the psp-go. the "gurt" part here is an attempt at humor i assume. as well that is not an official picture. the psp 2 is rumored to have 2 analog sticks, touch screen, no umd, and slide open. well have to wait a bit longer to find out what true. though im selling my psp before they officially announce the psp 2. even if it is just a rumor, im hardly going to miss the 6 decent games that came out for psp in the last few years, most of which were just watered down versions of console games.

  • frazzle00

    Posted Apr 30, 2009 1:50 pm PT

If they don't add a second analog stick, I'll definitely be passing on the PSP 2.

Yes, it's fake. The shoulder buttons are on the top of the system. This concept was modeled after the MYLO2.

  • Lauryn2000

    Posted Apr 29, 2009 6:19 pm PT

Ugh....they can't even make any decent games for the regular PSP and they want to dip their hands in this---side-kick-look-a-like??
I'll pass...I already have two PSP's that are like paper weights....

  • halo_wars86
