There's a great achievement in the Xbox 360 version of THQ's upcoming UFC 2009 Undisputed: It's called "Wanted: Flying Mouthpieces" and it's earned when you manage to send a guy's mouth piece flying more than three meters after knocking him out. I actually managed to earn it while on the ground, when the guy's head I was punching snapped back at the exact moment his mouthpiece came out, sending the piece of plastic scattering across the octagon canvas.

That was a great moment, one of many I expect from UFC 2009. GameSpot's reviews chief Justin Calvert is busy playing the 360 and PS3 versions of the game--look for his review early next week. In the meantime, I'm here to answer any last-minute questions you have about the game. I'll be playing it most of the weekend and want to hear your thoughts before the game is released on Tuesday.

    ok i have a couple questions.. in career mode my fighters fight style is muytie but i dont have a lot of the moves i should have. like head kicks and knees.. i also have bjj but i dont have the ground moves i should have.. whats up with that???? someone plz help me out

    Why is it every time you win a fight the other person quits just in time so you don't get the points and the win?

    I was wondering if there was a way to fix something. The thing that makes me mad is when you beat someone and they exit out and you don't get the points for the win and it wont show up that you won. I was wondering if there was a way to prevent this from happening.

    excuse me can you use in exibition mode can you use 2 caf with 2 different accounts in your xbox 360 hardrive so they can fight each other in exibition 2 fighters from 2 diferent accounts??

    I got ufc the day it came out,amazing game the only thing is when i go online the fighters seem to be glitching when they move and there`s a milli second delay when i perform moves.does any one else have this problem?

    @Kukica Yea you can play with offline with a friend.
    @robotthatt Its fun and very addictive if you like fighting games then you should give this one ago. @fu_q_2 No you cant smack the ref. As funny as it would be you still cant hit him

    my only complaint is the loading takes forever at the menus, and i know its petty but i wanted more for my created fighter, maybe something like what EA did with importing my pic, or tattoos. A small detail. Also online game play i was disappointed with the ranking, i just logged on for the first time and i was paired up against a guy that's a level 22 or something, needles to say i got destroyed. I guess these little features will get fixed in the future games after all it is the first and not all secrets should be given. Overall though while the game is though i love playing it. Best way to learn and get better is when playing career going through training with other fighters, they have tasks and with that you learn moves and what to do ground and stand up.

    @boks12, the 2 downloadable fighters are the winners of the last "Ultimate Fighter" season. Ryan Bader and Efrain Escuedero (sp?)

    @boks12 -- Your first stop when learning the game should be the tutorial, which is pretty extensive. Then dive into exhibition mode and try and decide which fighting styles you like. You'll learn to hone your skills a lot, after you decide what kind of fighter you prefer to use.

    Damn I'm already jealous,cause you all have the freaking game already and I have pre-order it. I know it is in stores on the 22 in my country! but hey I want to kick ass and get the belt and defending it....lol.
    @BrianEk do you know the 2 DLB fighters? and is it the best way to learn the game by fighting on normal level first? Thanks!

    I think this game is going to need some time to get better. Dont worry I got the moves down it is just to get your opponent before he get u in a move. I have a terrible record and i am keeping that record. online or multiplayer is the way to learn because the cpu will not cut u any slake. i did that to get better. Still hard . but all and all its going out do wwe. because u have different moves. i like it alot played it about 10 hours already.

    I just called Gamestop and they have been getting a lot of the same thing happening where people's manuals are in French. They said they will have the English ones, but just call before you come to make sure they have them at that time.

    BrianEk: Not sure but I think PunkAss is the surprise (could be wrong tho!)

    @ crow220 -- Counters work well (up or down on the right stick). Once you've got him on the ground, don't let him get up. Just keep pounding away. Sounds like he doesn't understand much of the ground game so if you learn a bit about it, you'll be ahead of the game.

    So I played the computer and did just fine, and loved it. I played my roommate who know nothing about MMA, and all the did was rush me and punch endlessly and his guy never seemed to get tired. I tried blocking and moving away but didnt really work he just rushed in and did the same thing again. any suggestions oh how to avoid this other than takedowns?

    You did get ripped off because the card is inside with the manual. The only problem i had was when I finally looked at the manual it was all in French, so they must have given me a Canadian manual that was inside the U.S. package, lol. I guess I should go back and ask for the United States manual, but I am having too much fun playing the game.

    would i be able to save my fighter on a memory card and bring it over to a friends house to fight his CAF?
    if so how do you do it??

    or the only way to fight someone else's CAF is through xbox live?

    I dont know about downloading them online, but everyone else I know including received the codes in the game case, behind the manual.
    If it is not there it sounds like you got ripped off.

    How can I download, the two extra fighters on UFC Undisputed 2009, If I bought the game at Gamestop. I pre-order it since the beggining of April, anyways I went today as soon as the store opened and picked up the game, I asked the guy for the code card they are supposed to give you and he said, "We only got 5 of those but, we already ran out of them, you can probaby, download them online." I think that is bullcrap, they should of gave me the card, I mean they had just opened, and I was like the first customer of the day. So I wanted to know if I can still download the 2 fighters.

    To all who have asked the mighty question about submisson, to get them to work the cpu fighter has to be almost out of stam or completely out for oyu to even get remotely close to pulling them off, also you need to have almost full stam (around 80% or above) to even bother trying, anything less and the cpu breaks out of it.

    i love this game don't get me wrong... but after reading IGN review... they saw the same flaws i wanted to point out too... hopefully some of these things can be patched? *fingers crossed*... it really is kinda annoying knowing that your character wont age... i know you can't compare MMA to Boxing but after playing this game i still think Fight Night Round 3 is a better game overall...

    Sounds excellent. However, the sport of MMA is based more upon the intangibles than it is upon striking and ground game. But no game to accurately portray this. I'll have to be satisfied with bending knees elbows 20 degrees in the wrong direction. Overall, an excellent game.

    This game sounds awesome, i just got my first submission win in the demo, by knee-bar in the last round, it was truly an epic win, you have to get their stamina to practically non-existent but it is well worth the effort

    Thanks BrianEk for the feedback! fought you need to win five fights in a row to get a titel shot ......lol...now i know it's not going to be that easy and can not wait to see chuck liddell with the belt again....and beat jardin,evans,rampage on the why to a title shot...lol.

    Well, I've completed 2 careers now and I'm not satisfied, I'm starting over in the Light Heavy and maybe it'll be more fun smashing the big wigs
