RedWar: Edem's Curse has gone from closed beta to open beta. This is a free-to-play fantasy-themed online game with such diverse character classes as "mage," "ranger", and "warrior." More information is available at the official Web site run by freshman developer Uforia Games.

Square-Enix has announced that presales are now open for its next add-on scenario, "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat." According to the official site: "This add-on scenario, the second of three, spins a tale of Mog House mayhem. What manner of stirring adventures and rich rewards await you this time?" Indeed.
Not directly related to any individual online game in particular, but Epic Games, creator of the Gears of War series and more importantly, the Unreal Engine, which powers the Gears of War series, has opened up a new office in South Korea to support game development there. Presumably, this is to help support the many, many online games that are being powered by Unreal, such as Huxley: The Dystopia and all the rest.
