    I Played both on the PS3 well lets take it from the beginning Pes2010: the graphics are awesome thats the only good thing about it, there is a lot of problems with the teams 1.defense "PROBLEMS" like i scored 7 goals on the first game just cuz of the defenders they are like:what the he*l is happening i can just run straight and pass them
    2.attackers are too powerful and fast
    3.Goalkeepers such and idiots i scored behind the mid field a goal and he was watching
    4.Goals are too big and Goalkeepers are too small to guard them.
    5.Graphics if you look at them closer you see the players like they are covered with mod B4 the game even start.
    6.Shorts are too big.

    but lets talk about FIFA10

    1.defenders are awesome you can't even pass them that easy except if you have a fast player but still not that easy 2.You have more options with some good midfielder and don't forget the long passes 3.attackers, it's not easy stopping them and you have a lot of shooting options and you can score goals that impossible to block or even to think of scoring one that amazing.
    4.Goalkeepers, well to be onset sometimes they make mad and i want to throw the game but i calm down LOL but they are really good 5.dribbling is not easy for noobs but when you practice it will be easy after all of that FIFA10 is the best

    As a true PES lover, I'm pretty disappointed by the demo. I really don't understand, how people who played previous PES games say that the controls are good?! They left it the same way exactly as PES 9 only with slightly slower response time, which is annoying. But I do feel they improved the defensive AI and added some new "finishing" animations that look a lot better.
    I also played fifa 10, thought it was really good, played 3 more games with some friends, and got really bored... It's just a boring game, sorry, I can't really understand why, surely not explain it, but it's just borinnnggggggg.

    My vote is still PES. I prefer annoying minor bugs than a nap in front of my computer any time.

    Well, I just played both games and I will go with PES 10. I think KONAMI made a great graphics improvement this time . Also I had much more fun playing PES 10 than FIFA 2010

    I'm not too biased to any of the two games. each year decide which footy game I'm going to buy and this year it's definitely going to be PES10. I've played FIFA 10 and although it was quick to pick up the game play differences to that of FIFA 09, I wasn't that impressed. In fact, i found myself annoyed the irritating unrealistic gameplay bugs we picked up within just 2 day of playing the game. PES graphics look FAR better than FIFA this year - from what I've seen so far at least. and lastly, Fernando Torres prefers PES so i will definitely take PES as well

    You guys are close to convincing me to give PES a try. I've only ever played FIFA and liked it enough to want to keep repeating it. It is hard to imagine a game done significantly better, but if PES is actually better then I certainly want to get a taste. I'm going to compare a bunch of reviews before making my purchasing decision. Go Barca!

    im a big pes fan, as long as i remember ive been playin pes. however the tow last ones was total crap and i have to admit that fifa was great in 07 08 and 09. but i kept playin pes and hoped to be a lot better the next year. and at last 2010 showed us what pes guys are capable of. i donno what can fifa be called this year on pc! pes guys still have some little bit improvings to do but they're not so huge like 2008 specially 2009. and at the end remember that fifa is for boys but pes is for MEN.

    for the consoles i think fifa is rocking hard ... but i still prefer pro even on consoles .... but on the pc .... its like fifa 9.5 .... or 6.5 .... i dont know what ea did but fifa is not growing on pc ... so pes on the pc is way better ....

    i am a biig fan of fifa and every year i would download both fifa n pes...and i will delete pes after trying once... but this year,u have to admit that pes has made a huge leap forward.... awesome ggraphics (best that i have seen in a football game) and the players look sooo real.... compared to this ,fifa 10 sucks to the core.... its crap.... the ground looks like its been painted with green color... poor gameplay..players are running like old men..... worst fifa is fifa 10 while pes 10 is rocking

    i had the full ver of fifa 2010 and i deleted itafter a day!!!!!!
    while the pes 2010 demo is the great pes or soccer ever
    i like fifa for consoles but on pc its crap
    my pc can max crysis dx10! but fifa have a crapy gfx and fps drops? wtf
    oh and the grass looks like a draw of(untallented) 3 years old painting btw why they arent making realtime shadows like crysis?
    most of games have it!!!

    I'VE PLAYED BOTH ON PC , AND WHILE FIFA INTERESTED IN BRING ANOTHER PLANETS LEAGUE, THEY FORGOT -THIS YEAR- THIER GRAPHICS , STADIUMS DAYLIGHT LIGHTING IS HORRIBLE , THE GAMEPLAY IS BETTER BUT STILL AWAY FROM THE REAL SOCCER GAME ,ON THE OTHER HAND PES INTERESTED IN GRAPHICS AND THEY DIDN'T MODIFY 09'S GAMEPLAY ACCORDING TO CUSTOMERS FEEDBACK ,THEY COMPLETLY CHANGED AND REPLACE THIER AWESOME GAMEPLAY BY A NEW ONE ,THE PLAYER CAN'T CONTROL THE BALL WELL AND THE GOALKEEPER IS IDIOT.     i've played both on xbox live and im a fifa fan and i believe that pes is nowhere near fifa. if fifa stopped making games and gave pes a chance they still wouldnt even compare.pes is like playin the old frogger it feels like i can only go up down and side to side. and fifa is a natural and smooth game and is somtin pes is NOT!!!!

    FIFA for the PC has been the same crap since 2006. They have taken the same game, and just rebranded it, while adding a few more animations and making some slight improvements to the game play. These minor improvements over the last 4 years do not warrant the purchase of the game. The console version of FIFA has had major improvement each year, while the PC version has been left behind because EA don't care about the PC anymore.

    PES 2010 on the other hand is really looking great. I've just played the demo after playing the FIFA demo and this is how football should be on the PC now that we are in 2010. Decent graphics, and very fluid gameplay. Although my only gripe with PES on the PC is that you are limited to what keys you can map to on the keyboard. I hope this is only a limitation in the demo otherwise this is going to piss off a lot of people who don't have controllers and play with the keyboard. Overall EA needs to catch a fat wakeup they are going to lose huge market share to Konami and 2K Sports if they don't start being competitive from year to year.

    I play these game since Fifa 98, however, PES is my most fav. I think Fifa 10 is better game play, more realistic, but the graphic is suck.. .like 2002 game. PES 2010 has great graphic, incredible movement but it 's not as real as Fifa. The player is kinda slow reacting to ball

    PES FTW. Fifa is tired and too arcadey. If the EA actually made a game that would utilise the PC (which creates all those sorry console games) they may come close to Pro Evo, but alas! the money grubbers fall short again. PES has the gameplay, physics, fluidity, visuals and overall simulation feel about it whereas Fifa is just a coin operated flop designed for the lower standard footballer. FFS The animations look better on the psp than the pc version. Wake up EA and smell the shi*! PES will wipe you forever unless you pull your finger out! Konami thanks for once again producing a smashing hit! Just get those team and league licences for next year and banish EA into the tunnel. FIFA will suffer a big drubbing this year!

    PES 10 is better on PC. 360 I'm not sure as I could only get a hold of Fifa but it was good on 360. I think I go with PES 10 though, cheaper on pc and I enjoyed the games more.

    EA keeps giving excuses saying that the cant make FIFA 10 for the PC have high graphics and stuff like that because they want it to work on all pc's.

    That's bullsh1t i mean we are at the next gen age where games like Crysis showed consoles the way its done. I have nothing against consoles, i love the ps3 but EA has to understand PC gaming is what got you them into business and please do not neglect it. I hope i can change my mind after playing the full game but reviews on the internet say otherwise

    I played both and for me fifa 10 is way better than pes 2010.^The gameplay is more natural and fluid than pes! the graphics are basically the same,both got great shading and detail,guess we have to see the final versions to make a best comparison!!

    Well i played them both and both SUCKS. they are light years away from realistic soccer. the players are moving two fast . i wonder if these developers watch real soccer ,the flow of the game is not smooth, when you pass the ball is't like you shot it out of a gun omg i have to laugh. well for arcade lovers go get it but if your looking realistic soccer skip these

    pes is better than fifa. i played football since i was a kid, and i can play in all position too...and for me, football is not about a one man show. teamwork is more important. in pes, you can feel that. the position and movement of your teammate and the computer's team is so real. so if you have a good vision, only with 3 pass you can penetrate into enemy's box (no dribbling)...BUT in defense it's difference...sometimes it's make me angry. And i don't like the heading and dribbling animation in pes, i think fifa is better. I've played pes 2009 from the day it's released untill now, but fifa09 is only a month, i even uninstalled it...

    EA think they can continue to produce this sh*t and people buy it its nowhere near the ps3/xbox 360 versions i hope the sales are poor so they will learn their lesson, and i heard their excuse for this was that most computers would not be able to run it (which is total bullsh*t) pc computers on average beat most console games let alone the monster ones, I used to have a HD3870 and that prdouced better results than the consloe games and if you know about pc hardware a HD3870 is not the greatest gfx card but does the job reallly well considering how much it costs now. If you played the demo you should know what i mean the graphics don't look a great deal differrent to me whereas pes 10 looks like they actually put some work in on the game unlike fifa just polished few things.

    Pes 10 is much better if you think fifa 10 is better u know nothing about football games, Pes 10 has been slowed down added tactical elements to so u can customise how ur team plays pressing, player support etc. I will not be buying fifa 10 until its like the console ones EA are seriuosly takin the piss no effort has been made to make this next gen still using that old tired engine i do not see why people don't see this and actually think its good. Its not like pes is still using the same engine from like 5/6 years ago its just poor on EA's Part.

    To the person that mentioned the trick stick thing, when ur playin (i use 360 wired pad on my pc) hold LT and rotate the right analog stick. check youtube for tutorials for the skills some nice ones on the game.

    Did a test for both games on the xbox 360 to compare. Fifa's motions are fluid as compared to PES. The reason for this is because Fifa uses motion capture technology whereas I believe PES is hand animated, although the demo claims that they mo-caped Messi which I think is bs. I'm very particular about animation cos it determines the feel of the game. Like super-v mentioned, you won't want to be controlling robots for players. I play real soccer competitively as well and PES10's animation DOES NOT simulate reality, do you run like a robot? Of course not! Not to mention the animation is so rigid it defeats the purpose of the 360 dribbling feature, and the variety of collisions are lacking. I've been playing soccer games more than half my life and was a big fan of WE/PES, owning every Japanese version of Winning Eleven from WE4 on the PlayStation up till Winning Eleven/PES 2008 but I'm sorry to say that EA has finally caught up with Konami in this field. Gameplay wise, Fifa provides more variety and possibilities with a lot more variation for passes and moves,defensively and offensively. I suggest reading through the options menu if you have time. I've played both on the hardest settings and it's easier to score in Fifa. Hardcore gamers would prolly prefer PES10.

    In terms of lighting and texturing, PES10 looks fantastic as compared to Fifa10. But we're only comparing demos. I'm hoping PES10 doesn't feel as bad as it's demo. By the way, Fifa 10 is bad on PC.

    It's the same history... PES over FIFA on PC it's a big way better and higher cutomizable, BUT in consoles FIFA kicks ass of PES... we would see wich "10" edition its better when they're on stores.

    fifa 10 is exelent i have play the demo and i like it very very much but i am a big fun of pes but pes 10 in demo whas terrible the animation of players was like robots ,slow passes ,always good shoots and so many bad thinks at new pes but until see the final game i cant say nothing

    You cant compare this two games across platforms... Fifa is very bad on PC, but it's great on PS3... On the other hand PES sucks on all platforms. I dont know what you all see in PES on PS3. Gameplay is really bad, ball is extremey heavy and don't have any physic, every team has some superhuman player that can score across 100 meters etc. PES is good game for a 3 year old...

    The things is, that these games are nothing like their console counterparts. I played both on pc and was thoroughly dissapointed until I played them on the ps3. Completely different. I think they should make the PC versions just as good as the consoles. As if I had gone on the PC experience alone, i wouldn't have bought either. However on ps3 fifa comes up trums for me!

    I played both PES2010 and FIFA10 demos and this year the crown goes to PES2010. This time around they lowered the speed of the game a notch to make it play closer to the real thing compared to PES 2009 and FIFA 10. FIFA on the other hand feels too arcady, too fast with unrealistic physics(inertia during trippling is completely off) and its way too easy to score, which, if you ever watched football on TV or played it in real life, you know that it's not the case. Additionally, the graphics are amazing and trully next gen for a change compared to FIFA10. The use of lighting, bump mapping, self shadowning and depth of field, (all of them better implemented compared to FIFA 2010 by the way) during close ups (i.e replays) is really breath taking. To sum it up, if you really want a game that plays closer to the real game of football and not some arcady, fake football, buy PES 2010. P.S The Konami ID is gone on PES2010 according to Konami, and the servers are handled over to Sony and MS, so expect a match better online experience this time around. I can't wait!

    PES is Pure Simulation and FIFA (PC) is a "wannabe" simulation soccer game. Really, Those who have played Real Soccer in Real Life will know that the behavior of the players and the ball hasn't been more realistic than in PES 10. The reason of the gameplay being "slower and laggy" is that, in fact, that's the way it happens in real life, just picture this: YOU are in possesion of the ball and start a running to a free space, so you kick the ball and start to run after it (how close of the ball you are will depend on your skills, timing your runnig, how strong you keep kicking the ball, etc.) and let's say that you want to dribble a defender or you want to make a pass, well you first HAVE to REACH the ball so, doing that won't happen in the same instant you take the desicion (only if you are a gifted player running sooo close of the ball, like Messi in PES 10), and that's exactly the way it works in PES 10. The ball is vivid, inertia, skill level, strategy, everything plays.

    FIFA, well, used to be a good game, but now is like 5 or 6 year old (almost same as 2004 engine), is easier to play (that could appeal to some gamers) and has the licenses (there are people who REALLY care for that).

    In the end, players will keep with what they found most FUN, I'm happy with realism and the simulation aproach that PES has and the licenses are welcome adittions, but some people preffer simplicity in favor of "gameplay" (a very subjective thing if you ask me).

    After playing both demos.. this year im definitely going for FIFA.. it is lighter and better optimized.. ran great even on my work notebook with a Sempron Processor.. PES gameplay was slower and somewhat boring (Yes, I can't believe I used this word with PES in one sentence =( ) FIFA's demo kept me busy for a long 4-5 hours even though it didnt have my favourite team Arsenal.. while PES I tried for an hour at the most then uninstalled it..

    EDIT: I'm a football fan since childhood.. been watch the beautiful game for 28 years now and I can't understand how anyone who watches and understands footy can prefer PES over FIFA.. FIFA's gameplay was closer to the real thing.. I just hope they improve keyboard controls for PC.. but if you have a joypad/stick.. FIFA 10 is the one to buy

    I don't know why people still play PES i just played both demos in my ps3 and FIFA10 is much more smooth better controls much more real then pes and as way better response from the sixaxis. i was a fanatic for pes until the first one came out for the next gen consoles but than it just turned a bad game.

    I say pes was better game than fifa untill it was made for next gen consoles.

    FIFA is much than better than PES since the 08 version.

    erm i commented based on the PC demo i played, not console. i really can't score and push well in PES but not FIFA, i scored damn a lot in FIFA and i enjoy it soo much but PES make me headache, need time to figure out the strategies and pushes else i have no idea how to win in PES. i scored 11 goals in 4 games(FIFA) but PES i only able to score 2 goal in 6 games. Both top player. Maybe i just a begineer. Now i had given up PES and go for FIFA coz it is much easier to score and enjoy.

    Okay.....just played them both on the PS3 slim......I use to be a loyal bleeding fifa fan until I took the red pill and discovered something called PES.......but then the King of Football games made a huge mistake last year with PES 2009 by getting to comfortable with a step ahead of the Fifa franchise.....so my alligence almost changed with the introduction of Fifa 09.....but I never lost hope with the PES franchise.......But today the truth shall set all fifa fans out there free...you ready for it..................DAMNNNN!!! The PES 2010 demo was truly a beautiful glimpse of how a real football game should be from player movements, to player AI, all the way to the crispy clean and smooth graphics. What else can I say to fifa fans out there except........GAME OVER....PLEASE INSERT ANOTHER COIN. Football has finally evolved. Peace.........

    i`ve played fifa a long time ago since fifa97 untill now...fifa almost got all license for all club/country thats why fifa is best then PES....and about the league or tournament FIFA is better then PES too but what i heard FIFA doesnt care about fans they only create for money and not for fun. Fifa have bugs and fifa cannot n never fix my favorite club Chelsea FC ( drogba ) there are some version of patch that fifa create but doesnt fix it

    what i can say about PES wow hell yeah PES is better then FIFA after all , FIFA cant beat PES......i play n play n play pes 2010 demo yes...its awesome n its more like real!!!!

    so now im choosing PES for the rest of my life...hell yeah PES!!!!
