Nintendo's WiiWare original game service is in for a busy week, as three new games populate its library. Headlining the slate is Konami's Ant Nation, a strategy game in which players condition a colony of ants to withstand brutal torture at the hands of 10-year-olds everywhere. Players will be able to wield lasers, magnifying glasses, and bolts of lightning to aid them in the survival of the fittest simulator, which is available for 700 Wii points ($7).

Ant Nation is joined on WiiWare by Bplus' Bit Boy, an adventure game where players progress through a variety of progressively more technologically advanced environments. Featuring a cooperative mode for up to two players, Bit Boy can be bought for 600 Wii points ($6). Lastly, JV Games has released Incoming!. Available for 500 Wii points ($5), the strategy game pits up to two players in a competitive tank-combat game.

The Wii's Virtual Console will be reviving two retro games this week. From Sega's Master System comes Secret Command, a two-player shooter that can be purchased for 600 Wii points ($6). Pulseman, an action-platformer originally released for the Sega Genesis, costs 900 Wii points ($9).

Nintendo's DSiWare sees one release this week in the form of Gameloft's Brain Challenge. The puzzle game costs 800 DSi points ($8 ) and presents 48 minigames spanning five categories: math, logic, focus, memory, and visual. The game also features Stress mode, which tests players multitasking abilities.

I thought the original Contra was on the VC already? I'll have to check that for ya. I have the original Cartridge so I don't need it but I could'va sworn that it was on there.
