Country is simply put one of the worst music genre's ever invented.
Not THE worst tho...that "honor" goes to German Schlager music (seriously...look it up on youtube...it will make your ears bleed)

Anyway....atleast this pack is nice for people that do like Country

Country pack without Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard or Waylon Jennings = Country-Fried FAIL.

You don't have to buy this stuff either, so don't act like it's the end of the world.

    On the road again?

this is the worst valued track pack IMO (even more than AC/DC, cause they're at least sort've good). 21 songs compared to 30 on the other ones

@sethat - Well.. maybe try getting over yourself first(and that IMO country and its acoustic guitars is just a step below these "plastic" guitars anyways). Fine.. obviously not literally "everybody" prefers heavier music.. but it would be rather naive to think that the clear majority of Rock band's demographic wouldnt drift towards something quite a bit heavier than country. Nothing wrong with country as a DLC.. but lets keep perspective shall we?

@TonyStewart_90 - Ugh.. country is a small parts of its roots.. but so is classical music for God's sake. Without the "Blues" rock wouldnt probably exist.. saying that without "country" rock wouldnt exist would be overblowing it a bit.

I know its probably been said like 15 times already, but I'm gonna go ahead anyway. I don't care about roots or what genre grew out of what genre, but putting country on rock band just expands the horizons of the game a little bit. Sure, the game is called "ROCK BAND" and country may not be considered rock, the developers probably just want to satisfy and attract a larger market than the market attracted to heavier rock music. And maybe its on DLC or a stand-alone track pack for a reason. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!! You can still have rock band with all your heavy music, but if you don't want to, you don'y have to buy the country DLC. Just quit whining about MTV and EA trying to attract a bigger fan base and make more money.

lol at all the country haters. You clowns should do a little research because rock got its roots from country and blues. Without country music rock would not exsist.

Alot of good songs on this pack.

There's some good guitar in country but I don't know how well Country fits with the theme of Rock Band. But those of you whining about it I have a few things to say. A. It's not about you, it's about everyone who plays the game and not everyone who plays Rock Band hates country music. B. A game is just that. A game. Yeah you may not like the music but how's the gameplay? Are the songs challenging? Isn't that what you like in a game? To have fun and be a little challenged? And C. It is downloadable content. If you don't like the music, don't download it. It's that simple. Sitting here whining about it is pointless. We get the picture, you don't like country music. Some people do. Not everyone's the same. Get over it.

Get over yourselves... Not everybody wants to play speed metal on their plastic guitar all the time. InZane4all: did you try to play the Dixie Chick track? I'm no slouch at the Guitar games, and I was challenged.

Oh COME ON!!! Reason why I don't play Rock Band anymore. Too many lame ass bands and artists being placed on the DLC. Seriously, Dixie Chicks?????? I don't think the developers understand the meaning of "Rock". They need to put some bands up like Amon Amarth, Testament, Exodus, etc.... Being that MTV is involved in this game, there is no surprise that the game is getting lamer.....
