While Rock Band features a veritable pantheon of rock gods in its catalog of downloadable songs, there are some glaring omissions when it comes to rock devils. One of those oversights will be rectified next week as shock rocker Alice Cooper cracks open a six-pack of downloadable songs on the Rock Band music stores for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The Alice Cooper pack contains four songs from the live album Classicks: "Under My Wheels," "I'm Eighteen," "Billion Dollar Babies," and "School's Out." Rounding out the pack are 1989's hit single "Poison" and "Vengeance Is Mine" off of last year's release Along Came a Spider.

Debuting alongside Cooper on the Rock Band music store will be Taking Back Sunday. The New York rockers will see three tracks from the 2006 album Louder Now arrive on the Xbox 360 and PS3: "What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost?," "Liar," and "MakeDamnSure."

Individual songs will be available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft points), or players can pick up all six Alice Cooper songs for $9.99 (800 Microsoft points) and the Taking Back Sunday trio of tracks for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points). All songs use the original master recordings from the albums indicated.

    Alice's concerts are still great, he chops off his head and still has a 15 ft python on stage. I still wish DLC packs would have less "live" tracks, I'd rather have the studio goodness.

    Actually Alice still Rocks and he doesn't just golf. he has his own Radio Show now called Alice at Nights, which i listen off a Vermont radio station that sydicates the show. So, catch Alice at Nights and tell me he is pathetic, because he is funny as hell on his show.

    Rock Devil? C'mon. Alice is a GOD! (or at least he was) Now he just spends his days golfing. How pethetic is that. At least it's DLC and not a $60 disc.

    I am a huge Alice Copper fan. This has win written all over it. I got to see him back in the Constrictor days.

    Rock Band's list of songs is far better than GH. GH is just way out of control. Keeping things in the DLC realm is the way to go. GH needs to stop making their game for a while because they have bled it to death.

    Awesome! "I'm Eighteen" is one of Cooper's best songs, and one of my personal favorites. Taking Back Sunday is pretty sweet as well, too bad they didn't put "Timberwolves at New Jersey" up.

    MakeDamnSure on rock band hell yeah! i love that song, but would have loved their cover of Suburban home cause its class.But beggars cant be choosers.

    Might get Schools out aswell still need to buy the Franz Ferdinand pack lol.
