There's nothing terribly "rock and roll" about punctuality. So it's appropriately not shocking that Jane's Addiction's album Nothing's Shocking--first revealed as a full downloadable album for Rock Band 2 in August--still hasn't found its way into the game.

That's finally set to change, as Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that the album will be added to the Rock Band catalog of downloadable content on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii next week. As with some previous Rock Band album downloads, there will be one notable track missing; "Mountain Song," already available on the Rock Band 2 disc, will not be available as a download for those who only own the original Rock Band.

The remaining 10 songs will be available for $1.99 each (160 Microsoft points, 200 Wii points), or in a bundle on the Xbox 360 and PS3 for $15.99 (1,280 Microsoft points). The full list of tracks follows below.

"Up the Beach"
"Ocean Size"
"Had a Dad"
"Ted, Just Admit It..."
"Standing in the Shower...Thinking"
"Summertime Rolls"
"Idiots Rule"
"Jane Says"
"Thank You Boys"
"Pig's in Zen"

I'm not a huge Jane's fan, but there's no denying the importance and influence of this album. A sizable majority of alternative rock bands in the 90s and 00s would eagerly cite Jane's as an influence.

Man, those songs take me back. Nothing's Shocking was still a dormitory favorite even when I went to school. It was guaranteed to get your indie girlfriend out of her Birks and onto your ratty little bed, astronomy class be damned.

    Great call for DLC.

LOL, play this with NIN DLC, and you get to have the best tour of the summer in your own living room, the NIN/JA tour. Can't wait. Now add Tom Morello's Street Sweeper for the opener...

Can't say I'm interested...I'd rather Rust In Peace. We already have a Megadeth album, sure, but Holy Wars and Take No Prisoners'd be a blast to play IMO. =P

Sorry guys but I just don't see the point of leaving comments saying "this band suck" or "rock band DLC hasn't been that great". I mean in my opinion mountain song on rock band 2 was quite good, I've never heard much of Janes Addicion but I don't get why people have to say why this means that the DLC is crap. I think the DLC has been quite good recently, songs such as Last Resort and the Pearl Jam album are great fun! Thank god we don't have guitar hero's DLC

I haven't really listened to these guys, so I'm not too excited. But, I might give 'em a listen sometime. And about the delay, thats ridiculous.August? C'mon.

Anyway, in my personal opinion, what we need is more Elvis Costello. Some seriously good stuff there, and would be fun to play like the rest of This Years Model maybe or My Aim Is True.

Also, @LordGeorgeton- Maybe your point would be valid if you actually listed some names of GOOD bands.

Okay. And, this is important HOW?

Judging by other people's reactions, these songs are nothing special anyways, so why cover it?

Janes Addiction sucks on toast, vocally at least.. RB's DLC has been lacking so far this year, other than Pearl Jam, SRV, and a song here and there.

Whether or not "Been Caught Stealin'" is on this album or not is beside the point. There are a handful of deserving songs that won't be in this DLC and likely only the JA diehards are going to be willing to pony-up for multiple installments. Put all the good songs in one package and leave the rest on the CD we all already own. I'm sure the record company would love to sell us all the CDs in our collection a second time though.

Not interested in this album, but I'm glad it's finally coming out. I mean, it was supposed to come out in January, I think; that's the only month there has been no album DLC since the album DLC rush that began in September. Nothing came out that month, and this album was scheduled to come out with the block between September and February.

Well, whatever. Good to see it's finally out. Not a Jane's Addiction fan, but with this one finally out, we might get a preview of what's to come once again.

Couple of Janes' biggest tracks missing from this list.
No 'Three days' or 'Been caught stealing'?!?

'Jane Says' and "Pig's in Zen" are wicked good tho..

'Three days' is my favorite. F'ing awesome track.
