The Rob Dyrdek Fantasy Plaza DLC for Skate 2 is only the tip of the iceberg of new content coming to the PlayStation Network's online store today. Sony also has on tap a range of new downloadable games, demos, and add-ons for both the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Fans of Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi can finally play his latest off-kilter creation, Noby Noby Boy. Better seen than described, Noby Noby Boy gives players control of a wormlike creature, which can be expanded and contracted by consuming objects in the environment. The $4.99 physics-heavy title also packs innovative network functionality, whereby content is unlocked as individual game owners expand their creatures.

Those looking for a less surreal experience can be comforted by PopCap's familiar match-three puzzle title Zuma. The PSN edition of the classic puzzler features 13 brightly colored environments, more than 50 puzzles, two game modes, and a number of unlockables. Trophies have also been integrated into the play experience, and Zuma is compatible with PSP remote play. The game can be had for $9.99.

A demo for Zuma is available for those who would like to try the puzzler before they buy. Namco Bandai's Afro Samurai is also available in demo form this week, following its decently reviewed January 27 release for the PS3. PSP owners will also be offered a dip of the demo action, as a sampler for the well-received LocoRoco 2 is now available.

PS3 owners can also update their game libraries with a whole mess of downloadable content this week. Media Molecule's highly customizable Little Big Planet gains a few more costume and sticker options with the $2.99 WipeOut Mini-Pack. The first of five $3.99 costume packs for Street Fighter IV adds one new outfit for Abel, E.Honda, El Fuerte, Rufus, and Zangief.

Fans of EA DICE's first-person platformer Mirror's Edge can pick up seven new Time Trial maps, at a cost of $9.99. Meanwhile, the Legendary Cars Pack for Criterion's Burnout Paradise can be purchased for $7.99 (individual rides cost $1.99). Burnout fans looking for a shortcut can also pick up the $4.99 Time Savers pack, which adds every car in the game to players' junkyards. High Velocity Bowling and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm also have two free downloadable add-on packs available this week.

The rhythm genre will also receive its regularly scheduled infusion of new content. To Rock Band goes White Zombie's "More Human Than Human" and "Black Sunshine," as well as Turbonegro's "Wasted Again," which are available for $1.99 a piece. Guitar Hero World Tour gets the Wings track pack this week, which includes "Jet," "Junior's Farm," and "Hi, Hi, Hi." Tracks can be purchased for $1.99 a piece, or $5.49 for the lot.

Sony needs to promote the cross-platform play with the PSP more. I really like that games like Bionic Commando: Rearmed that work very well through Remote Play. Zuma is another great game that will work well for this. This is a feature that not enough developers take advantage of.

I can't resist being a collector. I prefer the DLC content rather then the overpriced editions at game launch. Hate the excluesive thing - people do not deserve to miss content. It is ok though if that edition exclusive content is released as DLC in say like a month or two.

$3.99 for new costumes? =( I don't mind paying for things, but damn, that's a little bit overpriced, I think. And it doesnt even include the players I want with new costumes.

Apart from the level pack, the LBP content has largely been a huge waste in my opinion. I'll admit I did buy the Ape Escape costume, as I'm a big fan of the franchise and, unlike MGS or Final Fantasy, needs its supporters to re-assert their interest in its continuation, but I don't understand how people justify paying $2/wk for just a character skin.

4 dollars for 5 costumes? Hot damn, Capcom is goign a bit far with that price. Maybe if I got all of the characters a costume I'd shell out 4 bucks, but 5!? That makes the ten bucks for the 7 time trials in mirror's edge look like a steal, and the 20 dollar Lost and Damned DLC for GTA4 look like just that; GRAND THEFT!

Noby is ridiculously fun and addictive. It's very simple, but that's the beauty of it. I picked that and the Legendary Cars for Burnout up today, and it was the best $13 I've ever spent.

I'm all about some DLC for games, and new demos to try out. But what's with releasing a demo after the game is already out? They did it with MGS4, and now Afro Samurai... probably some more that I missed.
