Harmonix continues to make good on its promise of six more playable albums for its popular Rock Band rhythm game franchise. The latest--first leaked by the band's Web site and then confirmed by Harmonix through its customary channels--is No Doubt.

Titled No Doubt: The Singles 1992-2003, the track pack offers just that: 13 cuts from the pop rock group's decadelong maiden run. Headlining tracks from the pack include "Spiderwebs," "Don't Speak," "Just a Girl," and "Hella Good," with the full lineup listed below.

The No Doubt pack will be available for the Xbox 360 on December 9, with the PlayStation 3 edition following two days later. The full "Best of" album will run for $19.99 (1,600 Microsoft points), while individual tacks can be purchased for $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) apiece.

No Doubt: The Singles 1992-2003:
1. "Just a Girl"
2. "It's My Life"
3. "Hey Baby"

5. "Sunday Morning"
6. "Hella Good"
7. "Underneath It All"
8. "Excuse Me Mr."
9. "Running"
10. "Spiderwebs"
11. "Simple Kind of Life"
12. "Don't Speak"
13. "Ex-Girlfriend"

If alice in chains is already in the game then the song is most likely man in a box. That song is awesome. I say they just add more songs from the artist that are already on the game there are a lot of good songs out there not just the ones everyone listens too. Example korn everyone listened to freak of a leash but not the other songs on the album (Unless you were a korn fan like me.) and they should go back and look at all of the bands they missed and put em in. I mean I say go all out make the biggest song list. lol

But there is already Alice in Chains in the game. I don't know the names of the songs I like by this band unfortunately. I'll have to wait for Tuesday to see which ones I like.

Alice in Chains is real 90s music!

this is cool but i'd like to see some green day, more STP and more Pearl Jam!

Also, if we could get some Michael Jackson like GHWT has, i'd be thankful.

I like No Doubt, but $20? Yikes! It doesn't help that most of the songs are awesome.

Poison_Me_Rum, I hope you realize that yes, gamers can never be satisfied. If we could be satisfied, we'd still be playing NES, who knows, even Atari. The point is, many simply do not care for this band and their music in a video game. Why should those who do not like them be silenced into submission? Yeah, great for this company putting out songs. That's their business. But the business of the consumer is to buy something that *they* like, and not just to settle for less.

Again, gamers can never be satisfied. It's really starting to bug me how people react to Rock Band's DLC. Is it not good enough for you that, when combined with the original Rock Band, there are over 500 tracks available for you to play, the bulk of them being downloadable. Is it not good enough that Harmonix continue to released new content week after week? If you don't like the band, nobody is forcing you to download it. If you want to see your favourite band (and if it really is Nickelback then please get your ears and head examined) then make a music game yourself.

Anyway, I may have to check this out. I can imagine that the majority of No Doubt tracks will be fun to play. Thanks Harmonix.

Ok, in the interest of fairness. I need to clown Rock Band out of it's shoes for just a minute. NO DOUBT!?!

WTF? Worst band of the 90's. I made fun of GH3 for putting No Doubt DLC up, so I need to be fair. The difference is mainly you can overlook it on RB since there is SO MUCH DLC to choose from. I'm fine with it, but if they wanted ska type stuff I'd rather see Reel Big Fish, Insyderz, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Five Iron Frenzy or Supertones. All five of those bands are far superior to No Doubt. I mean, when you use a catchphrase for a band name, you pretty much HAVE to suck.

Definately good to get a few more songs out there that the girls can sing when you have em over. Not that they don't appreciate all the great Foo and RHCP and Nirvana but they just can't ever get into it and sing/dance and so you see em sitting there playing guitar on easy and being bored. Always good to have more songs that they will like.

any RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE or TOOL album would be awesome because if guitar hero can get the rights to those songs from TOOL rock band should get them and i really wanna sing Ænema lol

Okaaaay, this'll be the fourth week of "No money for Harmonix" for me. Did they forget the game is called ROCK Band and not POP Band...or CRAP Band?
The Naked Bros Band??? I Carly??? No Doubt ceased being relevant as soon as Gwen started wearing a wife beater. Bring back the 60's, 70's, and 80's bands. PLEEZ! Journey, David Lee Roth, Van Halen, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Warrant, Skid Row even...ever heard of these bands? Sheesh. I am not happy.

  • raahsnavj

Just like every other album, this one has two or three songs I care about and the rest can be flushed. I'm glad they at least make it so I can just buy a few songs instead of the whole thing. Saves me 1120 MS points.

I want more Nu-metal on the DLC,like System of a Down and Linkin Park...or any other Nu-metal band just put 'em up.Am I the only one that would buy Lonely Day right away if they put it up?Aerials?hahaha lol maybe even Terracotta pie.And then Linkin Park songs that have more instrumentals than computer-generated sounds like From the Inside or something.

They should make The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream available for download. They already set it up with Today...

And if they put Black Holes and Revelations by Muse on there, well that would be just dandy

  • otanikun

    Posted Dec 7, 2008 7:05 am PT

Thank goodness I don't actually have to download this, I'm kinda tired of No Doubt, they may be good but not that good to deserve so much downloadable content on or off Guitar Hero, to be put on Rock Band too.

  • David_Kniffin

    Posted Dec 7, 2008 4:36 am PT

rockstar_88, you totally speak the truth! That's exactly why I'm downloading it. Something like this really could've come in handy this Thanksgiving when me and my friends and our gfs/wives found ourselves in the exact situation you described. No Doubt will definitely help get them involved when we play during Christmas! Those who can't see this probably never had girls over to their place when they play... or maybe ever. *kidding*

No Doubt is pretty cool (still remember that time when they played at my alma mater in the 90's), and I'm glad they are releasing The Singles album so we can have their best songs. Won't buy everything, but I'll buy a few for sure.

  • JHutch07

    Posted Dec 7, 2008 1:46 am PT

Wow, No Doubt's not bad but for 20 bucks? Come on now. Lets get something a little more Rock Band worthy like Trivium's latest album "Shogun." Now that would be a killer download album!

  • crunchb3rry

Pretty cool that it's the Singles set rather than a random album. Way too expensive though but that's the RIAA's fault.

Ah yes... No Doubt... Gwen was probably the only rock star, and damn near the only celebrity, I've ever had a crush on.

I say "was" because... well... she just sorta' creeps me out now. Not that this is relevant in the least, but you enjoyed reading anyway, right?

    @ conformist

If you have a problem with No Doubt, that's totally fine by us. I'm glad it's coming out either way because I know when me or my friends throw parties, the ladies are going to WANT to play Rock Band when they see this. Harmonix is doing a lot of guys a favor appealing to the women with a No Doubt album, and that in turn benefits us and a lot of other Rock Band (2) owners that want their girlfriends/wives to have fun playing with them instead of just watching them play on the sidelines. I know my girlfriend and all her friends are excited about it. I don't understand why something like that wouldn't excite you, but to each his own I guess.
