Crisis Core bundle coming to Europe
Limited edition silver PSP and the final chapter in Final Fantasy VII will go on sale June 20.
When Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was released for the PlayStation Portable in Japan, the handheld surged to the top of the hardware charts, outselling all the other platforms combined. Even more impressive is that the huge leap in sales came a week before the PSP Slim hit the shelves.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has now announced that there will be a limited edition silver PSP and game bundle available for the region. The Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP features two engravings on the back: the first is the Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary logo, and the second a profile of three of the characters from the game. The PSP plus the game will be retailing at €189.99 (about £150, although the UK price is not yet confirmed), and will go on sale the day of the game's European release, June 20.
Crisis Core is set before the events in the hugely popular PlayStation title Final Fantasy VII. Trainee Shinra soldier Zack Fair is the main character, and characters Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, and Aerith Gainsborough all feature in the back story.
