Aussie game charts: March 17-March 23

Tom Clancy goes to number one in Australia yet again.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the Xbox 360 has knocked the previous week's top dog--Army of Two--from the top of the overall Aussie game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia. Despite a successful debut by the Xbox 360 version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the same can't be said for the PlayStation 3 version, which failed to make it into the overall charts.

Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii has moved up into second spot for the week of March 17-March 23. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo DS fell to number three, while the Wii version managed to retain its place in sixth from the previous week. EA's popular military shooter--Army of Two--for the Xbox 360 fell to number four, with its PS3 counterpart only three positions below it at number seven. The week came to a close, with Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? at number 10.

No More Heroes may have failed to make it into the overall top 10 chart, but that hasn't stopped it from making an impact on the Wii charts, where it debuted in ninth spot.

Glad to see Tom Clancy to top the charts! Vegas 2, is just simply a great game. Its a breathe of fresh air over CoD4 being way over played on XBL. Plus come on CoD4, you neutered the G3, whereas in Vegas its how its suppose to be, automatic and great for Stapling people!
