God of War sees red PSP
New "deep red" version of portable hardware features Kratos silk-screened on system, copy of game, Superbad on UMD, and downloadable Syphon Filter.

As the blood-splattered Spartan soldier turned God of War, Kratos is prone to seeing red, both figuratively and literally. To promote the upcoming release of God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PlayStation Portable, Sony is giving handheld gamers the chance to see red not just in the game, but all over their systems.
Starting in June, Sony will begin selling a new PlayStation Portable bundle that includes the system in a "deep red" color with an image of Kratos silk-screened on the back, a copy of Chains of Olympus, the raunchy comedy Superbad on UMD, and a voucher to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops onto a memory stick for the system.

Chains of Olympus is set for a stand-alone release March 4, but gamers with the patience of the gods will need to hold out for the release of the newly colored God of War PSP Entertainment Pack until June. The bundle will retail for $199.99.

too bad i barely wi fi so syphon filter is useless, i got custom firmware with isos and i beat god of war in less than 5 days uhh superbad should be good and the psp looks great. no worth the buy for me though

Aww, and I just went out and bought the Daxter Entertainment Pack a few weeks ago! Oh well. It was still a good deal. It's just that this PSP looks so freakin' sweet and even cooler with the Kratos stencil on the back!

That is definately one of the much better looking special PSPs. Too bad I already went through a lot of trouble to get the Star Wars PSP, so I guess I'm not getting this. I'd rather save up and get a PS3 instead. Still, it is cool they are doing this, gives late comers something to look forward to.

I will not lie, I have my original model of the PSP and my FF Crisis Core Edition slim PSP and with that said, yes I will be getting a GOW Red PSP Bundle. Do I need 3 PSPs? Hell no, but I'm gonna get it anyways because gaming rules that much of my life. I'll say it for you, pathetic.
