i am glad its going to be on all the consoles . the frist alien movie was great but the last one was terrible.. a little bit lame..

Exellent!! i've been waiting for a 'next gen' Aliens game. Just hope its as atmospheric as playing as the Marine in AvP2. Bring it on!!

I hope this is good as i loved AvP2 and i still rate it better then most fps these days. and red faction was great bu 2 they ruined it with the "improved" havoc engine which couldn't mine in the levels, create craters or have rumble lying around. they pretty much ruined that engine.

I have not actually played any of Gearbox Software's games. Apart from Half Life: Opossing Force, Blue Shift and Halo for PC. And I didn't play them a great deal.

I just hope that we finally get the game that we've all been waiting for, an Aliens game which could surpass AVP2. *Crosses Fingers*

Loved Alien 1-3 (Alien Ressurection, AvP and AvP2 were crap), hope they make it tense like the resident evil games. Looking forward to killing the "ugly mother-f****rs Hope you can do it with some sort of rocket launcher and spray the acid everywhere.

Great! I love the Alien film franchise and I think this game is going to be great! I still play Alien vs Predator 2 online, without the expansion pack of course.

Actually, this game sounds more like Brothers in Arms, Gearbox's famous franchise (where's Hell's Highway, anyway?), but in the future and against xenomorphs instead of Nazis, Azwhtknight.

Colonial Marines back from the dead aye? Maybe this time it'll actually make something of it self. As for Red Faction 3, the game lost it's soul when RF2 came out. At this point they could dream up almost any story in a similar universe and slap it with the Red Faction name.

The "ALIEN" trilogy is my alltime favorite sci-fi series (I don't consider Alien Resurection or AVP part of the series, kinda like the Star Wars prequels) and I honestly can't wait for this Aliens FPS (or the RPG also coming from SEGA based on aliens).

I'm just itching to grab ahold of one of those hip-mounted smartguns and frag some aliens. Micheal Beihn is a Champ.

Aliens: Colonial Marines "the game follows the future-soldiers who fight the titular acid-blooded xenomorphs in the Aliens movie" kinda sounds like a Halo style game. I loved the movies and books and the original Aliens FPS game from the early PS one days was pretty cool. The AVP games were kind of cool, but I think that game wise, the two should split into their own games. I think a new Predator specific game would be cool if they let you play as the Predator while he visits different planets on his quests to hunt down new trophies. You could play across all kinds of terrain like jungles, desserts, glaciers, mountains, plains...... the possibilities are endless. Just as endless would be the variety of alien lifeforms to encounter and hunt. Anyway, I digress, i will definitely be following the news about the Colonial Marines game. I hope they consider using severe survival and tactical area clearance like say maybe ....Space Hulk...yeah, Space Hulk did.

As much as I love the movie Aliens, I'm always skeptical when movie based games are made, regardless of who's making them. There have only been a select few movie games that were any good (Goldeneye and Riddick come to mind). I hate to be negative, but something tells me Aliens: CM will be mediocre at best.

The cancelled Aliens game looked absolutely awful. But Gearbox is a great developer, so I've got very high hopes for their game. I can't wait to see some solid info on it!

Colonial Marines? Wasn't that game supposed to come out like YEARS AGO? Oh well, I'm looking forward to this. It's been years since the last good Alien game. Plus it'd be nice to have a good Alien shooter without the any predators.

I enjoyed the first two Red Faction games, and I look forward to the third one.

The first Red Faction was incredible due to it's Geo-Mod tech. The 2nd one to me, sucked a bit.

I dunno about anyone else, but AVP2 on the PC was awesome and frightening. All other Aliens games, I can agree, have been spotty.

Thank god...an Aliens game that doesn't involve preditor. I dig the AVP stuff, but they tend to hose both mythologies pretty baddly when they combine the two.

A new Alien fps, AND a new RF? Cool! I hope RF3 is a LOT better than 2 was. The first was amazing, but 2 seemed like it was trying to be Halo (why, I have no idea. Imho, RF1 is better than Halo)

I'm hoping RF3 to be more like 1 and less like 2. I liked 1 a lot, but 2 was just plain sad.

I remember AVP on the PC by Rebellion Studios that game was freaky because not only did you have the Aliens AND predators on you but most environments we're dark for the Marine It was scary as hell watching your motion tracker clip then seeing 5 or 6 pings out of nowhere counting off the meters until death not knowing where the Xenomorphs would show up The colonial marines Missions we're always the scariest one's with instant death face huggers Predators with discs aliens and the Queen i hope it's done well like The PC version which is the best
