I want this game on the PS2 not just the PS3.

Putting GOW3 on 360 would be like putting Halo on P3, GOW has been a playstation game from the beginning and thats how it should stay.

I just got hired for a new job and gamestop store is right beside me I became friends with the people who work there. The manager said that god of war 3 is comeing out on 3/2/2009 thats what they said and am just letting people know Can't wait for this game to come out, and to all you xbox fanboys and girls can't you guys just stay in your section and not come on ours. GOW will never be on xbox just like halo or what ever microsoft games will never be on the ps3

I understand that ps3 is the console of today,but there are more ps2 users in the world.So everybody whould benefit if God of War 3 would be released on ps2 too.Sony Santa Monica Studios should profit at this and the GoW fans too,because not everyone has money for a ps3 but still we want to continue this wonderfull "franchise".

I'm currently playing Chains of Olympus and loving it. A GOW on the ps3 would be legendary.

As far as the xbox 360 comments, I own both systems and while I ,overall, like the 360 better, this game MUST be ps3 exclusive. Why? Because platform exclusive or first party games usually outshine multiplatform ones. Additionally, SCEA has great experience with Playstation systems and working with the 360 would only draw valuable effort from what should be an amazing ps3 title.

With DS3, MSG4 coming soon along with FFXIII, GOW3 for the future; Sony may force me to set down my 360/WII controller for awhile.

ah mannnnnn WTF!!!!!!!! this should have been a 10.0 perferct. For a psp hand held game this is a very hard game to put down once you is playing it. I dont understand the review staff employed by gamestop but i feel they need to get some better people becaus this game should have made the Gampspot Award. metal gear op and teken made it but this game derseves it too. And as far as the perfect 10.0 score, only game i see that have gotten that award was Zelda 64 and Soul Calibur for Dreamcast. Lets stop being scared to give a 10.0 to games that derseves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first game on th psp that played so well that yall had to do a graphic comprison to the some of the games on PS2. Get that Stick out of ya'll @sses and give scores to games that derseves it

So far every F****ing exclusive ps3 game that has a good rep that I have checked has more than 20 360 fanboys complaining about how the game should be on 360 and other sh**t like how the 360 is better than the ps3.

The F*****ing 360 has it's own F******ing section on gamespot, why the hell are you 360 fanboys coming into our section to barge about 360. So what the 360 has more games, the 360 came out one year earlier than PS3. This is the year the PS3 will really get on track with bringing out games.

The only game that you 360 fanboys where hoping would come out for the 360 and did that was a PS3 exclusive, was Devil May Cry 4. Most of you don't even know the whole story exaclty for that game, the only way you would know it is if you played it at a family\friends house who owned a Playstaton 2, or if you yourself owned a Playstation 2 and that would mean that you like Playstation.

Besides even though you guys got Devil May Cry 4 we got Lost Planet 1, and 2, and possibly Gears of War 2. The PS3 will be bringing out exclusive games that I know you 360 fanboys wish you had but it doesn't mean you should come over in our section to start a whole bunch of bullsh***it with the PS3 owners. It only shows that PS3 is better if you can't keep to you 360 section, so do yourselevs a favour and keep to yourself in your section.

It's not as good of a paper weight as a RROD 360...

This is great news for PS3 owners, and due to it's exclusivity, they should be able to take full advantage of the PS3's hardware and produce an awesome game with some awesome animations.

ps3's suck thats why it should be on the 360 its not that noone can afford it it's just they flat out suck (DPumbliQ)

It´s a good thing there are exclusives for each console, yes, it makes way for a great variation of games, yes, the competition between Sony and Microsoft creates better games, yes.

Good, good, but there is no need to be all "HAHA!" in each other´s faces when one game is exclusive to one of the consoles, because YOU had certaintly nothing to do with the production of the game!
Just be glad the game is out there, and if you cannot afford the console that the one exclusive game is available on, you need to prioritize.

Diabolikal_PS3 is correct! You'll never see games produced by microsoft in a PS3 as well a game produced by SCEA in a xbox360 ( thank god)!

I love GoW and I0 sure that GoW III will be the best god of war ever!!! (and its hard to be). I have a ps3 and I can't wait to play it but I read that it only be released in the end of 2009! PS3 IS THE BEST!!!!

PS3 rocks!!!! It doesn't have the game selection as the 360 does, but at least it doesn't show the ring of death 5 min after turning it on and the graphics are just as awesome to look at as the games are to play!!

i think that they should put this game on ps3 and ps2 because not everyone got a ps3 like me. I'm a huge fan of god of war (look at my freakin' name) and i didn't buy a ps3 but i still got my ps2 along with many other people who still have a ps2. I think they should make it for both systems.

now that i think about it ryu or dante either of them would kill kratos ryu is just way too fast and a way better fighter he would decapitate kratops before he saw what hit him

dante isnt as fast but hes half demon he would over power kratos easily

i like god of war but ninja gaiden has a way better fighting system and better ai
plus the move list is way deeper and it had cooler enemies god of war main strenght was its story and production values god of war 1 and 2 were my fave ps2 games though and if it looked that good on a ps2 i cant imagine how it would look on a ps3

oh btw ryu is actually more of a bad ass then kratos he would probaly izuna drop kratos and kratos head would explode

NG is good, difficulty keeps you stuck for a long time at one spot, GoW is sometimes similar but you get awesome finishers and a more badass character...... Master Ryu vs. Kratos? R.I.P. Master Ryu

DMC is awesome, Dante is cool, but he is no longer sticking only with Sony (Traitor) and he would underestimate Kratos (being Greek and very pale and all that) so Kratos would also kill him
