Daily Downloads: Minerva: Metastasis, World of Warcraft
Final chapter in mod for Valve's Half-Life 2 released alongside new patch for Blizzard's MMOG, Battlefield 2 mod, and Worldwide Soccer Manager 08 demo.
The long-awaited conclusion to Adam Foster's Minerva: Metastasis trilogy has finally been released. This free Half-Life 2 mod, which includes both previous chapters of the game, requires Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode One to play. Fans will be pleased that it is not, according to Foster, the end of Minerva.
Blizzard's World of Warcraft has been updated to version 2.2.2, which implements two new events: Brewfest and Hallow's End. The latter event sets loose The Headless Horseman onto Azeroth, and also adds 13 new graveyards in various zones around the world.
Also available is a demo of Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008, a wallpaper pack for Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath, a mod for Battlefield 2, an unofficial patch for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, and official patches for Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space and rFactor.
