Daily Downloads: BioShock, ArchLord

Official art book for 2K Boston's upcoming sci-fi shooter accompanies prerelease download of ArchLord and Civ IV: Beyond the Sword patch.

BioShock, 2K Boston's "genetically enhanced first-person shooter," is now the subject of a freely available digital art book. It is available as two separate downloads and features concept art from all stages of game production. Proceed with caution, however, as spoilers are contained within.

The game client for Codemasters' ArchLord, the now free-to-play massively multiplayer online game, is available for download for those eager to prepare for the game's launch on Thursday, August 16.

Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword has been updated along with Anarchy Online and Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2007. Finally, free-to-play fantasy MMORPG PlaneShift now has a game client ready to go.

I'll get the Bioshock Art Book after I play the game, because of the spoilers.

I have the high quality, man is it creepy and good. I would advise against reading the forword, as it has major spoilers, I didn't but I was advised against it by others.

It's downright Irrational how much they CARE about us. That Artbook is a masterstroke. I'm downright happy to be giving Irrational my money, which considering I have to give it to EBGames of all places is saying a lot...

Yeah, I'm never going to think of them as 2K Boston. Most boring name ever. Why didn't they just name it "Oatmeal," it has the same appeal...
