Sony reprises Symphony of the Night
Konami's original PlayStation Castlevania game now downloadable for PS3, PSP through console's online store.
Short of a stake through the heart, you can't keep a good bloodsucker down, and Konami's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of the best.
As such, it's no surprise that the game keeps coming back, with its latest incarnation being a downloadable original PlayStation game released on the PlayStation 3 this week. And just like the rest of the PlayStation Store offerings from the original Sony console, the game can be transferred to a PlayStation Portable.
However, unlike the rest of the original PlayStation offerings and their $5.99 asking prices, Symphony of the Night sports a $9.99 tag. While that puts Symphony of the Night above games on the service like Tekken 2 or Crash Bandicoot, the price is more in line with the recently released Xbox Live Arcade edition of the game, which sells for 800 Microsoft points ($10).
Other new additions to the PS3 online store include trailers for Gran Turismo 5, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and Infamous. A "behind-the-scenes" look at Heavenly Sword, as well as a half-dozen feature-film trailers, including one for the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction, have also been added.
