Free music videos for Aussie PS3 owners

Aussie PlayStation Store to feature free music videos for download.

As of this morning, Aussie PlayStation 3 owners will find free music video clips available for download from the PlayStation Store. The music videos--which are all from Sony BMG artists--are available in standard definition, high-definition 720p, and high-definition 1080p.

The videos are free to all registered PlayStation Network users down under. Currently, there are 10 songs available on the PlayStation Store, listed below:

Rogue Traders--"In Love Again"
Pete Murray--"So Beautiful"
Augie March--"Cold Acre"
Damien Leith--"Night of My Life"
Kate Miller-Heidke--"Words"
Dean Geyer--"If You Don't Mean It"
Amy Pearson--"Don't Miss You"
Old Man River--"La"
The Androids--"Whole Lotta Love"
Small Mercies--"Innocent"

    ahahah im an aussie and i know these bands, but that doesn't mean i listen to them. those who are complaining just wait to the list gets bigger, or they put songs for other countries accounts, or dont download them

    PS3 rocks, come to the conclusion if you haven't already

    Music videos are crap. Its nice having this stuff just because its free but I doubt you'll be playing these videos in a continues loop. Well, you might if you don't have anything else to do. I can see most people keeping this on their system just to demo it to friends and show off the multimedia capabilities of the ps3.

    its a bait and switch! next you'll find is a free LCD TV waiting at sony HQ for whom took up ps3... why free musics... why not a price cut?! by xmas sony will need "Whole Lotta Love" from you guys...

    good stuff it is all for free not like xbox on line you have to pay $100.00 australian dollars for one year to be a member.keep it up sony wait till the end of the year to see how's on top?had a 360 sold it it was crap it sounded like a airplane was in my lounge room

    wow... lots of hate for something that's free. Yeah... maybe I don't know these artists. But most of you prolly didn't know White Stripes until their 3rd album... or Nirvana after Kurt died. Because an artist is popular here doesn't mean squat for other countries.

    Stop whining and expand your mind with new experiences. Unless you'd prefer to watch a Britney video on the PSN.

    I hope this new service expands to the North American PSN... in the same vein as what Musicvideos.com is doing... don't let us keep the video... but maybe just let us stream it in HD. I'd imagine that's where Home will come in.

    This shows exactly why the PSN just can't & wont catch up to Microsoft's Xbox Live. They should maybe add some game demos besides crappy musicians no one cares for...my god Sony we wan't GAMESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! PSN is like the ghetto version of Xbox Live! Xbox Live just can't be beat...period.!
