I'm glad it works for XP. Vista is so horrible I'd like to wait as long as possible before having to switch to it.

Not time for Vista yet. And XP is not dead. I'm using it right now and I'm happy with it.

FearNeutron The price is 50 bucks a year to play on your pc over live. But i think if you are paying on your xbox you wont have to pay for your pc. I think its one price for both. So if you have xbox live then you have it on the PC.

For the guys complaining for GW:RE on XP, read the system requirements:

    Windows Vista
    1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) CPU
    512MB RAM
    DirectX 9.0c
DirectX Video Card (128MB memory, Shader Model 2.0 support required)
    DirectSound-compatible sound card
    150MB free HD space
    WEI Rating: 4.0 (3.0 required)

    Info was at MSN Games.

The reason why this is on Vista because WIndows XP is dead!.

On topic: Geometry Wars on the PC is a great idea considering the number of game makers out there who tried (unsuccessfully in most cases) to rip it off. The more people that can enjoy this game the better.

    Off topic a bit:
balindos said: "50 bucks a year to play on live on your 360 and PC, beautiful"

Since the development of online PC games and most recently the XBox 360, multiplayer gaming has changed a lot. PC games were basically never blessed with a local multiplayer feature. But does anyone still remember having three friends over and having a blast with Goldeneye 007 or maybe Super Smash Bros.? Now even console games are ditching local multiplayer support in favor of network multiplayer. And guess what: Microsoft was there with XBox Live, ready to make a buck off of it.

I for one, truly hope that you are wrong about your "$50 to play Live on your PC." The next obvious step would be for Microsoft to charge you a Live fee to play PC games online. If Microsoft dares to charge a fee for playing PC games online then that's it; I'm done.

MS is doing it right. All your XBL arcade games will be able to play on your pc with the your 360 control, and even better if you have a notebook pc then its on the go. 50 bucks a year to play on live on your 360 and PC, beautiful.

GDC = Good job Sony, MS

Come on guys, this is Microsoft. Anything they publish is going to be Vista only if they can get away with it. There is absolutely no reason it has to be Vista only except the simple fact that the game is published by the same people who are trying to sell Vista right now.
