Australia's top selling games for 2006 revealed
Twilight Princess, Lego Star Wars 2, and Need for Speed Carbon among top sellers down under last year.
Nintendo and THQ were the big winners in 2006 down under, with both companies scoring two games each in the list of Australia's best-selling games for the year.
The best-seller lists--which are based on GfK Australia sales data from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006--charted the top games by genre, although GfK declined to disclose specific sales figures or an overall top seller.
Australia's best-selling games for 2006 are listed below. Figures take into account sales across all platforms for a particular game and are based on overall sales value, not quantity sold.
