Pros, Joes, crazy Ivans head to Video Marketplace
Video releases for the week include ER, TNA: Impact, and funny girl Sarah Silverman.
The videos keep pouring onto Xbox Live Video Marketplace, and Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb posted details on this week's releases on his blog. While only one new movie is hitting Xbox Live, the week offers a few free episodes of new TV shows and two seasons of one of the most popular hospital dramas of all time.
While gamers wait for Midway's upcoming game based on the TNA wrestling property, they can catch up on all the suplexes, flying elbows, and clotheslines of season one and four episodes of season two of TNA: Impact. For a different show full of fake injuries, Xbox 360 owners can also download the first two seasons of ER.
While the above will cost gamers a few bucks, Video Marketplace is also offering a few free downloads this weekend. Episode one of season two of Spike TV's Pros vs. Joes and the series premiere of Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program (on Marketplace tomorrow) will be free to download through Monday.
Gamers old enough to remember that Tom Clancy wasn't always just about Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six can rent the week's sole movie offering, The Hunt for Red October. And for music buffs, this week's music artist of the month is Good Charlotte, who is represented with a video and making-of-the-video featurette for "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl."
