In an interview with some website/magazine , he said that the 3d replications looked different than the built from the ground models of snake, otacon, etc. And that teh fact that they would look different would be important to the story, they would constitue a 3rd faction, Could they be the Patriots ?

thats right the hours of cutscenes expected in MGS4 has to be massive....

Man, just think hideo has the blu-ray to work with. HOW MANY HOURS OF CUTSCENE's and CINEMATICS is he gonna put in? the MGS series has been known for its long and numerous cutscenes. Giving Hideo a blu-ray to work with must of made his head explode with content that he can put in.

If I can save enough money just b4 the event starts, I may fly over there for the weekend from Melbourne, sounds exciting!

Bozco-mkd, yeah I read that same thing! The example that he used was how MGS3's title movie was interactive, and the MGS4 opening was going to be incredibly innovative and surprising.

it is incredibly unlikely that MGS4 will be released for the 360. Hideo says that MGS4 has to be on one of the new 50GB bluray disks cause it is so large. How many DL-DVDS would that have to be on to run on the 360? depending on how many GB the game actually uses, it could be 3-4 dual layer DVDs. Ya? Not impossible... but improbable.

Hideo kojima is going to treat us mgs fans big time you just know he will come thru he never fails.
I just want to say take as much time as needed im in no rush and totally willing to wait so long as this is going to be the craziest mgs experience ever.

I heard that Hideo will do something really and truly amazing in the mgs4 title screen they say it will be revolutionary so it just gets me thinking if its tru (which i can believe) then what on gods earth will he do this time .
maybe otacon will be like a menu A.I and you can talk to himm or something mad like that ..

i hope he says something about a substance for X360 coz i have no money for ps3 i really want it to go to x360 i wish he say it (there will be MGS4 substance for X360 in 2008 )

Dang..i need to go down under now..I bet he has something serious to bring to the table..dang i just know it..all i have to say is..this better be the longest MGS to be..and they should have like a super special edition which would consist of, all the playstation versions of Metal gear Solid, all the substance games in one part on the disk, all the old MGS games from NES and so fourth plus a Substance for the fourth one..and a Developer interview, and Kojima's biography..some awsome online features, themes for your computer, for Xp and weak A@@ Vista, and tons of other Great Goodness. oh oh oh, and some other Biography's of other Characters, like the ninja and why Metal gears Bleed and stuff like that..LOL..man dont I wish..oh well...but C'mon its the last one you know..

I have alot of respect for SIR!!!! Hideo Kojima people, out of all the top names in the gaming industry. I am more than happy to say he is my number one person on my gaming list. One day if I get into making games... I would want to make military games simular to his works man.

I hope MGS4 for 360 is announced.....600 bones bucks for a system with one game I want is still too rich for me

Yeah, I also read somewhere a long time ago that Konami or Kojima himself, maybe not, is working on a franchise for the Xbox 360 with similarities to the MGS franchise! So, that could be it. That can definitely make for an exciting announcement amongst other unexpected ones in this fabulous new year of 2007 along with some screenshots.

Wow look at the intense stare, I think all the melodramatic writing he has done for MGS over the years has put him into some sort of Brooding Frenzy. Look at how hard he is Brooding. I bet there is a school in Japan for the art of Brooding. Ancient Japanese Brood sen-sai have handed down the secrets of Brooding to only a select few and Kojima was a star pupil. Look at how artfully his hand is arraigned to imply maximum Brood with minimal effort. Congratulations Kojima-san you are truly master of Brooding!

Kojima is awsome, I have never gotten into a game as much as I did with the Metal Gear Series...its just...amazing....words cannot describe what this guy has done. If games were art, Metal Gear would definatly be the Mona Lisa.

Jeez, when was that picture taken, 1967? Tight pants? Check. Crazy patterened shirt? Check. Mop Top? Check. Tired eyes and a lazy, prone position? Check. I don't mean to hate though... he's a hella talented dude. And to nynthninja, not only has Sony lost a couple MGS games... keep in mind that this whole series was on a couple of platforms before Sony.

Metal Gear Solid 4 won't even look as good as it is on ps3 if they decided to make it for xbox 360 which they won't
