To kick off the holiday season, EA and DICE have launched a series of limited time offers for Battlefield 2142 – including a chance for gamers to download and play the full version of the game for free, for a limited time.

- Free Trial –Gamers can register for a chance to download the full version of the game and play free for a limited time
- Dog Tag Days of December –Hunt down DICE staffers online and collect their dog tags with knife kills for the ultimate in bragging rights!
- Holiday Homecoming Weekend – For a limited time, players will have a chance to rocket up the ranks as they will receive additional "away bonus" to use as they return to the battlefield, which will boost their in-game score.
- All Unlocks Weekend – For a limited time, gamers will be able to play online using all the unlocks in the game, giving players a chance to test-drive higher level equipment
- Ad Ideas – What does the future look like? Gamers can create their own in-game ads for Battlefield 2142 and submit them to DICE for possible inclusion in the game. Serious or spoof, the future is in your hands!
