100,000-point Gamerscore achieved

Xbox Live profile tops 100,000 achievement points through dubious methods; jealous gamers cry foul.

Xbox Live gamerscores can be very telling, even if their worth is merely for bragging rights. A high score is indicative of a hardcore gamer. On the other hand, a very high score can be indicative of a nonexistent social life.

The man behind the Xbox Live account "StripClubDj" (registration may be required) is very hardcore and may not have seen the sun since the Xbox 360's launch last year. StripClubDj now has 100,499 achievement points, making him the first Xbox 360 gamer to break the 100,000 mark.

Getting to that milestone doesn't come easy. To get to 100,000, the gamer has had a wide variety of titles under his belt, including perfect scores from the recently released History Channel: Civil War, Cabela's African Safari, and Bionicle Heroes. The profile also has a few games--Eragon, MotoGP 06--listed twice, likely because he's played through different regional versions of the same game. Also included in the list are games that are sold in Japan and Europe only.

Overall, StripClubDj has amassed all the achievements in almost 100 different games (including both full and Xbox Live Arcade games) and has 144 different titles played under his belt.

Some gamers on Internet messageboards aren't too impressed with the milestone and believe that StripClubDj is actually a group of gamers working under the same profile. Several are also accusing the gamerscore of being bloated with saved game exploits and other cheats.

StripClubDj appears to be receiving a fair amount of hate mail for the accomplishment. Earlier today, his motto simply read "KissMyA?? Haters!!!!!" He has since changed it to "GoingOfflineForA[while]."

    I wonder if microsoft will come out with a special acheviement for just reaching a certin amount of gamerscore points. but anyway congrats man. Your the first to be called Hardcore gamer for the xbox 360.

    The only smart person here is B Nanny because he actually does some research... STRIPCLUBDJ IS ONE PERSON!!!

    Its not a group of people living in a dorm or anything. He uses gamesaving where people download saves from the internet but is around 90% legit. He is a good guy with a life.

Anyway, the point that many people have about the profile (s) with the top achievement points is that it would basically take living with your 360 and playing it for 24/7, which is next to impossible for a sane person, to achieve what these profiles say they do. I'm lucky to have the achievement points that I do and maintain a job with good pay. My point being is that those with the top achievement points are either cheating by using mods, groups of players playing under one profile, teenagers living with their parents in the suburbs, or are really losers and still live with their parents only to become hermits and secluded themselves from the rest of the world. If your occupation was to be a DJ at a Stripclub, it would be impossible to have the achievement points that "StripclubDJ" has. Besides, anyone who did that as a living would care less about being a videogame nerd and care more about the T&A, but unfortunately, most teens only can relate to video games and fantasize about stripclubs.

    DarkMaster and Dragon, I greatly respect how you defended Strip. I don't know him personally, but I talk to him online a lot and Dragon is right, he IS a good guy. He does have something in it for him when it comes to gamerscore, I'm not sure if he'd like that revealed, but anyone who dislikes this guy because he's better at getting gamerscore than them should keep their comments to themselves.

    The points are worthless. If there was money at stake or something then it would mean something. But at least someone remembers when playing videogames was about high score. Congrats on a impressive yet meaningless Victory. At the end of the day Videogames are just games. Fun yes, addictive yes, even I know there is more to life than games as much as I enjoy Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Good for you you got the high score.

    OK for everyone who thinks this guy is cheating and/or multiple players on one account. You're all wrong. I work at gamespot and sell him 90% of his American games. I know him in real life and he is a good person. So let's try this, everyone stop hating on people who simply finds enjoyment out of somethings you might not, and just drop this whole "argh he cheats!" crap. It doesn't affect you. Does it make you less of a gamer? Do you find yourself dwelling on meaningless things day in and day out? Then perhaps you should stop playing games altogether, cause there'll always be someone better than you at something.

    WoW all i have to say is congratz to StripClubDj he truley is a HARD hardcore gamer and did everything possible to get that high score, even if he had to buy foreign copys of games... to me that shows true dedication. And FYI there are also many people in the Guinesss Book of World Records who have done many things where they had to give up their "Social Life" just for the time being, but they had the guts to do it and thats a pretty hard thing to do.

    Why are you saying he has no life. I've spoken to him on xbox live before and he is a nice guy. Also I've seen pictures of him and he doesn't look like a loser. btw he is a strip club dj in real life. And so what if he cheats (which he does). It's up to him. Soooo many other xbox live people do it!

And I don't think there's that many games on marketplace with near 30,000 points in total."

    How old is that list?? It didn't include games like History Channel: Civil War, Cabela's African Safari, and Bionicle Heroes that the article did.

    There's no way this guy is just one guy. That being said, congrats to the group of people that broke the 100,000 mark. Someone had to be the first and if they cared enough to buy imported games and actually play History Channel: Civil War (rofl) they deserve it. Sure its probably not the wisest investment of time or money, but it's a major acheivment none the less. Grats!

    I guess you didn't read the article, because he has a lot of foreign games and foreign releases of American games.

    About exploiting.....Yes it might not be the most 100% honorable way to get something but if it is there and there are no official rules against it, then what is the big deal. If you are in a tournament or you make clear that you are not doing exploits then you will be accepted by most people. But because they exist and they haven't been fixed then let them continue. I just feel that one way or another you should make clear if you are 100% all you or a little bit strategic in your methods.

    Well here is a list of current 360 games and the total achievements http://www.360-gamer.com/achievementlist.asp. There's 87 games (excluding download games & there achievemnets from markteplace) with a total of 2257 achievements and 70,345 points. So unless this guy is rich and has bought every downloaded game off marketplace he still has 29,655 points to get. And I don't think there's that many games on marketplace with near 30,000 points in total.

    But who cares as long as I am getting my point's up I'm happy to try and get them.

    While I like the idea of achievements, Gamer Points was a bad idea. You know that idiots like these people (since I doubt it's 1 person) are only trying to be the first to each milestone and couldn't care less about games. I shudder to think what will happen when the first 1 million point Gamer Score is recorded.

    Thats what you call a nonexistent social life, to have that much games you have to be rich older than 25, some of my friends think I have a lot which is only like 6,184, I'm not suprised if this guy even played Cars from Pixar Studios. WHAT A LOWLIFE!!!
