Taco Bell offers tacos for life for a PS3

Beans, cheese, tortilla hawker willing to exchange one of Sony's in-demand consoles for $12k worth of tacos; PS3 will be donated to charity.

Several gamers waiting in line over the weekend for a PlayStation 3 hoped to make thousands of dollars by reselling the console to those willing to pay extraordinary prices. One gamer, however, is guaranteed to make $12,500... though not in American currency. Taco Bell, the Chihuahua-led Mexican fast-food dealer, is offering $12,500 in Taco Bell bucks (which the chain considers a lifetime supply) to the first gamer willing to part with a new PS3. Taco Bell isn't going to get its frijole-covered hands on the console; the chain is being donated to a Boys & Girls Club teen center. To donate a system in exchange for muchos tacos, send an e-mail to tacobellnews@tacobell.com. The first to respond and send off a PS3 will win.

    Damn if i had ps3 i could give it to Taco bell and never never ever pay to buy my g/f dinner on Wensday nights. Thats Taco bell night for us, gee i wish i had a ps3 to donate, i would very much concider it for this dea. =(

    LOL.
    From that sentence someone could understand that Taco Bell is being donated to that teen club. That would be far more generous than a ps3.
    I guess it`s nice of them to donate a ps3 to charity, though I don`t expect anyone to sell them a ps3 until the shortages are over.

    damn I take my whole famdamnly and cant spend $ 20.00 when I go there the food is that cheap. of course we dont get soda Iam cheap. they are also banking on the fact you will die of a heart attack before you can eat all that fast food.

    $12,500 in tacos? You got to be starving in order to go through that fiasco to get a PS3 and give it up so quickly. Sell em at 50c on the dollar, come off with $6750 (minus expenses). That's still more than the PS3 would fetch on Ebay.

    if a REAL taco-shop in mexico trade your PS3 with same ammount of tacos
