Star Wars gets bundled
LucasArts to sell five of its biggest sci-fi hits from the last five years in one PC package; Galaxies trial also included.
As highly regarded as the Indiana Jones and Monkey Island franchises might be, the name of LucasArts has become synonymous with Star Wars. The game publisher is packaging some of the reasons for that together in a five-game bundle of Star Wars PC releases from the last five years, it announced today.
Star Wars: The Best of PC will include multiple takes on the sci-fi franchise, including Star Wars: Empire at War (real-time strategy), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (role-playing game), Star Wars Republic Commando (squad-based tactical shooter) Star Wars: Battlefront (team-based shooter), and Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (traditional first-person shooter). LucasArts is also including a 14-day trial of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies in the package.
Star Wars: The Best of PC will be available this holiday season for $39.99. All of the games in the package are rated T for Teen.
