Eidos dates Justice League Heroes
Publisher wants gamers to save the day for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox releases of its superhero action RPG.
While Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the Justice League may get together on a monthly basis in the comics, it's a much rarer occurrence in games. Outside of a pair of Game Boy Advance titles, the pantheon of DC Comics' biggest names hasn't been seen together on game store shelves since the ill-fated 2D fighter Justice League Task Force on the Super Nintendo and Genesis (in which Green Arrow could defeat Superman). That dry spell is set to break next week, as Eidos has nailed down an October 17 release date for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of its action role-playing game Justice League Heroes. The game was developed by Snowblind Studios, developers of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and Sony Online Entertainment's Champions of Norrath series.
