I feel so cheated, this happened with my gb sp also. I went thru three sp's before i saw the retro nes color scheme. now they start with the ds.... its not fair! i mean what color nintindo ds defines me as a person?

Where is the colour RED? Red colour as in blood red colour goes well with violent games. Such as God of War etc. They should go for blood red colour.

When the DS lite came out I wanted it but the colour was in wite only,I waited and look what happened new colours came in.Good things happen when you wait.I'm gonna get the black one this winter

onyx color is great.

YOU all should know nintendo release more colours and designs later, so it is always fine waiting, also the priceing of the DS won't change much in the next couple of years, so waiting is perfectly fine, people who just HAVE to have one now-well jee you have one now. Also their are artists you can PAY do do designs and repaint your DS if you are THAT bothered about the colour. Manufacturing different colours takes time and Nintendo needs to make sure they choose colours which will be reasonably popular, that is why it isn't too common(although the low production of Micro meant colours were easy to do in the smaller numbers).

I hate how America always gets shafted when it comes to the available colors for a handheld at launch... And why do we always get the crappy colors? White turns yellow, Silver chips off and it becomes a wierd pale yelllow/beige color, and Gloss Black shows fingerprints liek a white shirt shows stains

I have a regular DS and I've been waiting for the right color Lite to upgrade, but now, i mean is great news we're finally getting some different colors in the US. Thouse 2 new ones are just not 4 me. I want a blue one!!!!! I might get desperate and get a polar white to go with my mac. Darn it Nintendo hurry up and get more colors out in the US

HECK YEAH!!!Finally, we are gonna get multiple colored DSes! Now when we go to the store to buy a DS, we wont say: "This sucks, the only color they have is silver...Silver sucks..." WE WONT SAY THAT (unless they're all out of pink, and onyx) you'll say: "Wow, what color should I get? There are so many to choose from!" We will be saying that!!! HAH!

About time, I was tired of waiting, now my PSP and DS can live in harmony.

One lucky nephew got my original DS. Now a 2nd nephew (or maybe niece) will inherit my white DS lite. I gotta have the onyx one.
