Dinosaurs roaming Zoo Tycoon 2

Makers of the business-centric strategy game unleash larger-than-life beasts as a low-priced, downloadable extra.

Microsoft and Blue Fang Games today released a $5 downloadable, miniature expansion for their Zoo Tycoon 2 strategy game on the PC. The add-on, called the Dino Danger Pack, throws into the mix four dinosaurs--the Carnotaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. The necessary accessories, such as electrified fences to cage the prehistoric animals and special foods so they don't eat park guests, are also included.     I didn't buy Zoo Tycoon 2, and won't buy it now even with the expansion. It's simply too 'kiddish' compared to Zoo Tycoon. Anyway, $5 for 4 dinosaurs is a *little* too expensive.

    zoo tycoon and zoo ycoon2 plus all the expansion backs for them both are all ACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Zoo tycoon 1 was great.... i wasted hours with it's dinosaur expansion. Zoo tycoon 2 has changed too much for me to want it, but another dino expansion.... that could persuade me to give it a try.

    RCT3 is more fun than zoo tycoon...That wildlife game looks a lot better than this one too.

    Good game but same trouble as with RCT3, even on a beastly PC (4000+, 3 gigs DDR, dual 7800GTX's) game slows to acrawl once your "park" gets into the medium to large state.

    This game is still going on? I'm very suprised. Good to here that Ms can stick with games through a long time.
